My Wife and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary at Koffmann's in Knightsbridge. We booked on-line and I mentioned in the comments request to see if they could find a nice table for us, being our anniversary. Well, what can I say, but they made a very special dinner even more so with there kindness and attentiveness.
Firstly, they gave us the Chef's table ( it was an early booking - 6.30pm, but even still !), each of us received a complimentary glass of Laurent Perrier ( not house champagne) and generally made a fuss of us, which we both enjoyed.
The food was exquisite, beautiful presentation and excellently cooked to perfection...10/10 !!
My Wife asked for a menu as a memento and to her surprise they came back and gave her a signed menu by Pierre Koffmann himself !
The whole experience at Koffmann's was one we both will not forget in a hurry and we would highly recommend anyone looking to book that 'special meal ' to do so at Koffmann's.
In this day and age with so many options to eat at places that promise so much but end up lacking on so many levels, especially on the service side, Koffmann's stands for excellence on EVERY LEVEL !
Thank you to all the staff at Koffmann's.

Very nice food and attentive professional service (though conversation somewhat curtailed by intrusive building work and drilling). Not in the same league, however, as the old now defunct Tante Claire

the hotel is in the process of refurbishment, so a bit higgeldy piggeldy. I arrived and went for predinner drinks to the bar. I then asked for the restaurant, but was guided to the wrong one. I have a bad back , so a lot of stairs up and down. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was busy and the serving staff were a bit confused, glasses on the table off the table back on the table. We told them that we had booked via Booking.com, obviously the "second class not a la carte" but the "cheap set menu" , the menu was taken away from me and I was given the wine list (A4 leather bound) and the board for set menu. I then mentioned that in the offer a glass of champagne wes included and we would be happy to start with that and then take it from there. I had to call the waiter again to remove the heavy leather wine list. It was all a bit strange. I have been a guest with the Berkley previously (for 25 years) and always thought it was a very well run hotel, friendly with the eye for detail. That has been lost.
We enjoyed the food (we both like french food). The best was the tasty desert. The hotel then did a nice thing and brought a happy birthday greeting with a mini candle to my friend. That made him happy.
We both had to "powder our nose" so again stairs up, down, up , down.
The atmosphere of the restaurant othewise was pleasant, we could hold a conversation and it was not too loud.
We thought it was a bit dark like "in a cellar".
All in all a good evening, because I was glad to take my friend out. The food was good, desert excellent. The staff a bit confused.
I wish the Berkley all the best.

Even though we were on an offer menu food choice and quality were excellent. All staff very attentive and friendly; very knowledgeable lady explained about the wines and cheeses.

This was an experience not to forget. The food was out of this world. So well balanced. Every flavour had a purpose. My expectations were quiet high. They were exceeded. It's all about the whole dinning experience tough. You will find that all the staff were so relaxed and knowledgeable. They show how hospitality and service is done. It's very hard to recreate the personality of a chef. In this restaurant you will find it in the service and on the plate.
Thank you for such a wonderful evening,
I will be back very soon,

Saturday night at Koffmann's an absolute delight. Dined early to take advantage of special offer, which was excellent. At this restaurant it goes without saying that the food, ambience and service were superb. Koffmann's continually offers high a high quality dining experience, you're never disappointed at this establishment. Special mention for the Pork main course, outstanding flavour, moist and really well designed. We'll be back very soon.

Second time I have been to Koffmans on this simply stupendous deal. The staff are attentive, joined in discreetly with our humour, just great. The food- well who else can provide a very generous mackerel tartare, hake (and complimentary melt in the mouth chips and a glass of Laurent Perrier for £32? The bread basket included is also magnifique. The hotel is under a major refurb so make sure to go straight to the restaurant on the north side via its own door om Knightsbridge to avoid confusion.
