Surrounded by the luxury of The Berkeley, Koffmann’s Knightsbridge sees renowned chef Pierre Koffmann showcase expertise honed at a string of top restaurants. Elegant Gascon delicacies are crafted in the partially open kitchen.

In this laidback foodie haven, the illustrious chef presents an exclusive selection for the Koffmann’s menu. Timeless French accents are weaved throughout, with sublime signature dishes including roast squab pigeon with French-style onions, or a delicate skate soufflé with lobster sauce.

A wealth of choice from the wine cellar is painstakingly sourced from artisanal growers, and a stock of vintages offers some truly superb one-off bottles. For further indulgence, irresistible dessert options at Koffmann’s Knightsbridge include Gascon apple pie, or citrus terrine with a cleansing blackberry sorbet.

Offering a sunny vibe, Koffmann’s London showcases lime green upholstery and cutesy fresh flower arrangements. Hyde Park Corner Tube Station is 2 minutes’ walk away.

There is a lunch deal which is really good value and with a 2 or 3 course option gives you the chance to sample the famous pistachio souffle as well ! Delicious bread with more on offer. Amazing garlic brioche. Calm atmosphere, service was quietly attentive and we were delighted that Chef Koffmann came to talk to us.
Am determined to return before it shuts at the end of the year.

    Standards as high as ever.

Be careful not to over-indulge in the wonderful breads (they're too good to miss) because portions are generous and you're not going to want to leave any food on your plate. An amuse-bouche of crispy chicken skin with chicken liver mousseline and quails egg was superb, my starter of a crispy egg served with girolles and a lovely polenta 'jus' clever, deeply flavoured and perfectly executed, and the shared grilled chicken for two simple, tasty, and beautifully moist. Somehow we found room in our dessert-stomachs and the sorbets were an excellent light conclusion. The only slight miss was some petit-fours - creme anglais filled profiteroles filled with a caramel topping; they were good but didn't sparkle like the rest of the meal (where every single ingredient had its place), and were really too big at that point - a small piece of something chocolate or turkish delight would probably have worked better. It won't stop me going back though - the food here is simply superb and despite its complexity also conjures an appearance of being superbly simple. Fabulous.
