The bread basket was amazing. Mackerel starter was succulent and flavourful but could do with a bit more seasoning but that's my preference. The partridge was a let down however. Overcooked, tough and quite troublesome for lunch fine dining when served with all the limbs on the bone. More of the delicious jus would have help. The Basque Almond tart was also rather dry which was a surprise. It's worth going back just for the bread but overall I was slightly disappointed as maybe I was expecting a lot from Koffman.

Excellent food and professional service. The dining room was a bit chilly but otherwise not to be faulted. Better food than we have had in a number of Michelin star restaurants recently.

Absolutely amazing dinner. Every course was spot on. Favourite dish was the pistachio soufflé. The legend of Pierre Koffmann is alive and kicking.

Fabulous food excellent service totally relaxing and enjoyable lunch, must rush to go back again as they are closing at the end of December.

Brilliant as usual. Devastated to learn it will be closing at the end of the year because the Berkeley management want the space for alternative use. Hope Mr Koffman opens another restaurant with the same style, flair, attention to detail, superb food and wines and very reasonable prices.

The meal at Koofman's was amazing but I was confused about the offer we signed up for and how we ended up paying £200 for our meal. The deal was for 3 courses and a glass of champagne for £36 a head. Admittedly, we had an additional bottle of wine (£45) two coffees, a brandy and a jack daniels but I think that was all.

The staff were exceptional and, as soon as they realised it was my birthday, couldn't do enough to make the meal a special occasion.

The food was fantastic, especially the white chocolate cheesecake which I think was the best I've ever tasted. The presentation and general ambience of the restaurant was also fantastic.
