Overall, very good food and friendly service, atentive without being over bearing. The major downside was the price. It is VERY expensive, even for Mayfair.

Undoubtedly 2015’s most sought-after dining spot, Kitty Fisher’s presents British dishes from its custom-made wood grill. A host of 5-star reviews come courtesy of the nation’s top food critics.

Now famous across the London restaurant circuit for its moreish signature dishes, favourites from the Kitty Fisher’s menu include burrata with beetroot and clementine, or beef sirloin with onion and pickled walnut. For dessert, indulge in creations like rhubarb, yoghurt and almond cake, or chocolate mousse with burnt orange, crème fraîche and hazelnuts.

The intimate, rustic dining room at Kitty Fisher’s in London is lit by soft candlelight, and filled with cosy banquettes and warm weathered wood. A small yet perfectly-formed, stool-lined bar showcases some sterling wines, and the prosecco and sloe gin-based ‘Bad Kitty’ cocktail.

Taking its name from a legendary 18th-century courtesan, Kitty Fisher’s restaurant in Mayfair sits within the historic Shepherd Market, just 5 minutes’ walk from Green Park Tube Station.

Absolutely fantastic. I had the crab entrée followed by the cod and it couldn't have been more delicious!

Great little restaurant. Food was excellent, menu small but very nice choices. Staff were excellent, very efficient & friendly.

Food was really great as usual and perfectly portioned. Have the full three courses , as the menu is designed for , and you get a very satisfying meal. My favourite course was the desert but the duck main course was a very close second. The only slight let down was the coffee which was a bit on the weak side.
The tables are well spaced so you don't feel crowded and the ambience is great.
    Service is perfect.

Small ,warmly decorated restuarant. If you want a more intimate setting ask for the downstairs room.the upstairs room has a few tables and the bar area. Choice of 4 starters,3 mains.3 desserts. Using market fresh ingredients, farm fresh meats, grilled pork and duck, pan seared cod, with tasty inventive sauces & varnishes of crisp vegetables,or layered purees, nuts, preserved lemon...Attentive,friendly service in a relaxed but upmarket atmosphere .
    A great evening out.

I cannot be the only customer to turn up at 5.55 for a 6.00 booking. To be told to wait outside rather than be offered a stool was unacceptable. If I had been with a different guest I would have gone elsewhere at that moment, but she particularly wanted to try KF because I had recommended it. Perhaps you should take your first bookings at 6.15 to avoid the inconvenience of early arrivals like me?

As always - totally superb. The informality yet great atmosphere at KF's lends itself to a delightful evening. Service is always so personable and the food delicious - we had the salted nuts, the bread, the buratta, the asparagus and the beets followed by the steak - everything was truly scrumptious and very well cooked - I cannot fault anything!
