What an amazing cafe! The staff were all polite and welcoming. The food was scrumptious. The cats were adorable.

I booked for 4 of us at 12.30pm on Monday 20th February. It was a special occasion as my sister was returning home to London so we booked in advance to ensure we could get a table, so we could have a meal with her before her train home. I also had limited time on my car parking so the visit, instead of being relaxed and enjoyable, became stressful as our food order of 4 jacket potatoes took just under an hour! We asked a member of staff when our food would be ready and she apologised and said she was unsure what had happened and why it was so late. Once the food order finally came out we noticed that one jacket potato which was my daughters ( who by now, was complaining of being so hungry) came out with the wrong topping! The food however when it did come out was very nice. We then ordered desserts and waited in antisipation as to how long they would take, a few minutes later the waitress came back and said she forgot to tell us that there was no Tangy lemon cake left. I was extremely looking forward to visiting the cafe, the environment for the cats is amazing, and that part of the visit was enjoyable. I would love to say that I would pay another visit but I'm sorry to say that the service hasn't inspired me to revisit.

Didn't order food apart from a piece of cake. However when we were finally seated and our order had been taken for 2 milkshakes it took 20 minutes for these to arrive and a further 10 minutes for my cake to arrive to the table. Waitress was very rude and not friendly. However, food which was on other people's tables did look nice. As it took so long for my piece of cake to arrive I'm glad we didn't order food as we wouldn't of had time to eat it within the remaining time we had!

Took 45 minutes for our order to be taken and just drinks to arrive.

Loved this place, took my daughter who also loved it and can't wait to go back. I liked the way that it was run with the welfare of the cats being at the heart of everything, thought that the ground rules were excellent even if the one about not feeding cats was difficult to follow when one of them was really after my food! Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff who were happy to give the names of the cats etc. Our food was really nice (excellent rhubarb and ginger cake) and reasonably priced and the cat themed décor and waitress uniforms were witty and interesting to look at when you could tear your eyes away from the main attractions, who all seemed happy and healthy. Some information about the charge before sitting down would be helpful, did not begrudge paying this by the way, just think it should be in information about café. The hour passes very quickly and will definitely be visiting again.

Very easy to book a table but please be aware that this needs to be done in advance. There is also a welfare charge of £5/£3 adult/child just to sit at a table. The food was delicious, although slightly expensive. OUR waitress was very polite, quietly spoken but could not have been more helpful. There was also a lady greeting at the door who was very happy and smiley. The same could not be said for all of the waitresses though... One was extremely rude and miserable when serving the family next to us. She never smiled and appeared to be annoyed by both the cats and the customers.

Only having your table for an hour does not really give you enough time to do anything. It would be better for this to be increased to 90 mins to get the full experience, especially if you are eating as I didn't have enough time for a pot of tea as I only had 10 mins left.

Excellent. Really friendly and a great experience. It would be lovely to be able to stay longer as we travelled 85 miles to get there.

Cafe is great, I have been here three times now and I love seeing the cats and supporting the work that the company does. On this occasion however I took a friend and we were both taken aback by a rude and patronising member of staff. He was on the door and had long brown hair tied back, the staff here have always been fine and never a problem but this man seemed very ingeuine and uncaring. We were seated 5-10 minutes after our booking meaning that we only had 50 mins at our table, we felt as though he purposely did this as he took a disliking to us for some reason.
