Lovely evening in a great restaurant. Excellent service, food & atmosphere. The restaurant is smart and stylish but not over fancy.

Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant and the fact that there (as far as I could tell) no musak in the restaurant itself (we were sitting in the conservatory area) so that you could talk without being drowned out. Good, friendly service and very good food. Well-priced wine list with a few wines on it which you don't see very often (Gavi and Viognnier). Just a couple of points, we had a drink in the bar area before sitting down and weren't sure whether the menu would be brought to us there or wait until we sat down - it was actually brought to us once we had sat at the table.

Would recomend this restaurant to anyone.

Lovely setting but average food at high prices. My lamb was overcooked and I'm surprised that the chef let it leave the kitchen. You have to pay extra for side dishes and the mash was bland and dry. My husband's pork was also overcooked. Our waitress asked if we'd 'like a hot drink or sumfink' which didn't inspire us to have anything but we later learnt that she was in training. We'd been here a few times in the past but left it a couple of years to return as we'd thought the food was overpriced for the quality in the hope that it had improved. Sadly it hasn't.

Had a window table with great views into the valley on a clear evening. The food was very good and the service excellent. It is a while since I have enjoyed black bream. The wine list isn't extensive but contains sufficient options to match the menu. We had a very good evening and will return.

The first word I would use is... Underwhelming. This was my first and likely last visit to Kits Coty. Many years ago I had heard good things which possibly built a certain expectation which was destroyed by the end of the meal. To summerise:

Outside of building had no character or architectual grace.

Brand new staff did not listen and had little clue (couldnt list the draught Beers and ignored my fiancee when she asked for no gravy with the main). I mainly blame whoever was responsible for the pitiful training given to these new staff.

Rost potatoes had obviously been re-cooked and veg ( carrots were undercooked).

Did I leave a tip.... no.

I think this place has been relying on its reputation and after speaking with friends today seems to have gone down Hill.

Lovely food and waitresses were efficient and friendly. The conservatory area gets very warm and bright so suggest top tables when the weather is good as it can get quite uncomfortable. Overall experience very good. Would recomend for the views but actually a bit of tree lopping is required but not sure if the trees are on the restaurants a few years you will just be looking at a car park with trees behind it. If the trees are pruned the view would be spectacular

A lovely romantic evening quite expensive but worth while would definitely go back again

We enjoyed the ambience, though being a Tuesday evening not all the tables were filled. and there was no "Entertainment" as would have been on some other evenings , but it suited for a quiet evening out .Background music was good and to our taste
Variety of menu choices well prepared and presented .The guinea fowl and fried sweet potatoes was a particularly yummy combination as did the cod and sweet potatoes. washed down with Locally .brewed Champaigne from Tenterden! `
    Good reception and service.

My fiance booked for us to dine here as a date night. Wow, pretty much sums up our evening. The welcome was lovely and the food was stunning (we both had fillet medallions) and they were very fairly priced. We will be returning on many more occasions I'm sure.
We are hoping to arrange our wedding reception here as the views are beautiful.
Thank you for a delightful evening.
