Fantastic food and service, as usual. I got five stars for introducing my work colleagues to a wonderful restaurant.

Kitchen W8 is a contemporary Michelin-starred restaurant on well-heeled Kensington High Street. Nestled behind a sleek and unassuming black exterior, stunning presentation of seasonal, British food has earned W8 its critical acclaim.
Foregrounding provenance of food, the Kitchen W8 menu offers such mouth-watering combinations as caramelised loin and croquette of Pata Negra pork with potato, apple and watercress, and Roast Bresse pigeon with heritage beetroots, bulgur wheat, hazelnuts and bacon. A tasting menu showcases the restaurant's finest dishes and pairs with elegant complementing wines, while Sunday lunch is a refined approach to the comforting homely roast.
Elegant and understated, the interior at the Kitchen W8 restaurant in Kensington has been designed to create a relaxed ambience. Peppered with modern art and quirky patterning, it is an apt backdrop for picture-perfect cuisine and a host of sophisticated French and New World wines.
The distinctive jet black awning of Kitchen W8 in London is recognisable in the parade of shops on Abingdon Road, just off the High Street. It is a 5-minute walk to High Street Kensington Tube Station.

Wished we had have found this restaurant earlier! The name never really enticed us but we would definitely go back having now tried it. Flawless food with interesting flavour combos. The passionfruit swiss roll was to die for. The restaurant was not so busy on a Monday night unsurprisingly yet the noise from some tables filled the restaurant so we wonder if it might be a noisy place if very busy. Cannot really fault the experience!

Our youngest son had a graduation ceremony at the Albert Hall (as a doctor) that afternoon and the lunch was a celebration for his parents, his siblings, his heart surgeon uncle and aunt (who fly over from Washington DC) - and it was everything that we wanted and had hoped for; not cheap- but not expensive... and worth every penny. Excellent food - excellent all round.

Kitchen W8 is as good as it is unpretentious. Original, different and delicious food served in a friendly way. Noisy at night but perfect for lunch. My favourite restaurant.

Kitchen W8 is one of our regular stops in London, in this case after a matinee at the National Theatre. The food, ambience and service is always great - the biggest challenge is choosing what not to have - I've never been disappointed about any aspect, and I can't say that about many other restaurants, however many stars!. The 2014 Peachy Canyon Zinfandel is nearly a good enough reason to come, all by itself!

Food was good and service brisk but to get above one star the service needs to be more polished and refined.

Situated on a quiet road off High Street Kensington W8 is very unassuming but delivers a fantastic dining experience. Four of us for a Friday lunch celebration and we were not disappointed - stand out dishes included the smoked eel starter and scallops starter which both had a great mix of flavours and textures - for mains the sirloin and venison ended up being very well received by a table of carnivores as both dishes were perfectly tender and cooked to perfection - cheese and port to finish was a great way to round off the meal - would highly recommend
