Undoubtedly one of London’s most fashionable tables and winner of a coveted Michelin star, Kitchen Table offers exclusive bespoke dining for up to 19 guests. Tucked just behind Bubbledogs, slick brushed steel benches and plush bar stools encircle the electrifying open kitchen.
The Kitchen Table menu sees James Knappett and his team prepare, serve and talk diners through a tasting journey of contemporary European cooking, that bears many of the hallmarks of James’ time at some of the world's best restaurants, Noma and Per Se. With a strong focus on British traditions, ingredients and flavours, dishes at Kitchen Table in Goodge Street will change on a daily basis, depending on the freshest and best ingredients on the day. Sample dishes include beef, dead nettle and carrot, or chicken skin, grilled onion and burrata milk.
Sandia Chang, the General Manager and Sommelier at Bubbledogs in London, has compiled a wine list of over 80 bins. This expertly-compiled list features a wide list of grower Champagnes to accompany James’ dishes.
Offering gourmet cuisine with exciting twists and a superb cellar, Bubbledogs restaurant has emerged as one of London's most sought-after restaurants. Goodge Street Station is a 3-minute walk away.

We didn't really know what to expect from the kitchen table, but it is fair to say the meal we had last night was exceptional. The dining 'experience' of watching the brigade prepare the 12 dishes is immersive and fun and the whole team were happy to chat and discuss the dishes. Often such an approach can distract from the food but in this case it strengthens the menu by giving an amazing insight into the origin and freshness of the ingredients. The flavours and combinations were excellent and for some dishes absolutely incredible. Parsnip as a caramelised dessert stood out a for innovation and the brill for pure flavour but we couldn't fault a single dish.
Overall Kitchen Table lept up to the top of our personal list of favourites (Fera and Hedone are previous holders of our number 1 spot for this sort of food)
This staff were excellent - cutting up my beef before serving as a broken collarbone was limiting things a bit - and many thanks for the wild garlic - we will let you know who the scones turn out!
Finally it is great to come across a wine list that is concise, of high quality and sensibly priced - very refreshing.

Or trip to The Kitchen @ Bubbledogs was a birthday gift for my husband - the whole experience was amazing. From booking until the end of our experience was flawless and memorable so much so that my husband asked if we could go again this week!
The setting is stunning, staff wonderful and the food out of this world. 16 courses all sublime - special mention for the chicken skin - sounds questionable but once eaten we will never look at chicken skin in the same way again, truly delicious. Having said that each and every course was a revaluation.
Would whole heatedly recommend a visit you will not regret it.

Wonderful dining experience, lovely staff and amazing food! The staff are obviously knowledgeable, passionate and enthusiastic, and this is a really great overall experience, more than just a meal. It was an interesting set up, and the chefs were willing to answer all questions. They were very accommodating as I am 7 months pregnant so had some annoying food and drink restrictions! The mackerel and the rhubarb courses were special winners, And the paired wines are highly recommended. Only criticism was the accompanying background music, which was a little intrusive and did not really add anything.

The Goan curry spiced scallop and the red mullet with wild garlic gratin were impeccably flavoured dishes! As was the poached rhubarb with black pepper meringue, which was toasted in front of you with a stick of charcoal from the fire pit. The menu was just dripping with delectably divine food and James Knappett is blessed with creative flair like no other. Try it or miss out on the culinary experience of a lifetime. Enough said.

Absolutely stunning from the scallop first course to the last caramel course. Opted for the additional Perigord Truffle course which was the star of the evening - I have never had so much truffle on a plate = stunning

A fantastic and unique experience. From the front of house staff Ben, through to the different members of the Chef's team explaining each dish and it's origins and provenance of the ingredients, and the Chefs requesting feedback it was well co-ordinated and very engaging.
The food was excellent, with great variety across the range of the 12 courses. The wine recommendations were on-point and service attentive and friendly throughout.
Towards the final few courses you could see the head Chef developing the menu for the next day. He too time explaining the degreee of change day to day based on the produce they can grow in the garden - surely motivation to return and see how the menu evolves.
Highly recommended for great food and unparalleled insight into the workings of a high quality kitchen.

Dinner at Kitchen Table was absolutely fantastic. Great service, unique and flavorful food, overall an incredible dining experience. We were in a bind because our dog sitter cancelled, but they were kind enough to accommodate our puppy at that last minute. I can't wait to dine with them again
