Undoubtedly one of London’s most fashionable tables and winner of a coveted Michelin star, Kitchen Table offers exclusive bespoke dining for up to 19 guests. Tucked just behind Bubbledogs, slick brushed steel benches and plush bar stools encircle the electrifying open kitchen.

The Kitchen Table menu sees James Knappett and his team prepare, serve and talk diners through a tasting journey of contemporary European cooking, that bears many of the hallmarks of James’ time at some of the world's best restaurants, Noma and Per Se. With a strong focus on British traditions, ingredients and flavours, dishes at Kitchen Table in Goodge Street will change on a daily basis, depending on the freshest and best ingredients on the day. Sample dishes include beef, dead nettle and carrot, or chicken skin, grilled onion and burrata milk.

Sandia Chang, the General Manager and Sommelier at Bubbledogs in London, has compiled a wine list of over 80 bins. This expertly-compiled list features a wide list of grower Champagnes to accompany James’ dishes.

    A unique and truly special dining experience. We loved the intimacy between the guests and the kitchen/ chefs, gaining a real insight into a working kitchen with intense attention to detail and craft that was truly awe inspiring! We are massive foodies and had not dined this way ever before, it will absolutely remain one of the best dining experiences for us both

    Superb meal and great experience. Really reinforces the skill, knowledge and technique when you're in the kitchen watching these artists in action. Chicken skin, duck Ragu, scallops and prawn were particularly good. Not cheap but highly recommend.

    Chef has done it again. Amazing! Truly a fantastic experience. I opted for the white truffle course and was rewarded with a complex and flavorful exerience. Every seat is a chef's table seat, and each has its own unique view of what can only be described of a team of culinary maestros at the direction of the master himself. Deserves all the stars!

    From entering the restaurant it was clear to see that the service throughout he night was going to be exceptional, and it was.
    Every member of staff that we encountered was an absolute delight.. they were knowledgeable and friendly (and not in a fake way that I would hate), they were completely genuine.
    James himself was an absolute star, he engaged with customers, answered any questions that we had and also gave my partner a tip on how to improve the texture of his homemade butter whisky!
    The food was magical, each dish had it's own personality and the flavours were insanely good.

    The kitchen table was a fantastic experience. The very talented chef has been so inventive in his dishes. My favourite dish was difficult to decide but I have narrowed it down to the chicken dish and the potato dish. But to be truly honest every mouthful of every dish was amazing. Sitting around the kitchen table watching the chefs at work and being able to ask questions was an unforgettable experience. My only criticism was the price of the truffle dish and the price of the tasting wine menu as these two together were more than the actual tasting menu which made it a very expensive evening.
    Well done to the chef, he is amazing.

    An interesting and theatrical experience with James the chef and the two sommeliers explain everything in detail. Hard to name a favourite dish as they were all unique and delicious in their own way.
