The staff were friendly, professional and provided outstanding service. They were accommodating in every way (we had 2 babies with us).
The afternoon tea was delicious and there was an excellent variation of cakes and sandwiches.
With the setting, it feels like your taken back in time to a different era.
Overall, a lovely experience and would highly recommend for people to visit!

Exceptional service , from the warm welcome we received at the door . The table setting was beautiful and the attention we received from start to finish of our visit was above our expectations.
Our waitress was a young lady on her first ever shift at the tavern , she was fully supported by one of her colleagues, who explained she was there to help her and to give her confidence and support which I felt was a very sympathetically put .
The food couldn't be faulted . Can't wait to return .

Excellent afternoon tea, great food, great staff. Can highly recommend the Gentleman's afternoon tea! One of our party was diabetic and he was delighted with the fruit he had rather than the sweet on offer.
