Set in the Easton area of multicultural Bristol, Kashmir is a neighbourhood Indian restaurant serving classics and regional dishes from the foothills of the Himalayas such as the Ayer Fish Steak (£6.95). Terracotta walls, glass-top tables and Indian music videos playing on the big screen get you in the mood for an Indian feast. Special mains include Kashmiri Kofta Bhuna, balls of minced lamb in a spicy thick sauce (£5.50), King Prawn Bahar in the Chef's special recipe sauce (£7.95) and Sonji Madras, a hot vegetable curry (£4.75); from the tandoor comes Kashmir Special Roll of chicken or lamb tikka with naan bread and mint sauce (£5.95). Curries are divided into mild, medium and hot. or choose Fish Fingers and Chips (£2.25) from their English menu!
