12 of us met at 7:30pm for a pre-christmas meal. As a mix of veggies and carnivores, we arranged ourselves to share the appropriate set Christmas Tapas menus. All agreed the food was excellent, authentic feeling and plentiful. So many things you can do with potatoes: bravas, alioli, and a particularly tasty green pepper dressing. These complimented the tender lentil stew and ratatouille. Not so great? Nobody could think of anything.

I and my friends dined last Thursday night at Juan Sanchez and we all agreed that we will definitely come back. The menu is based on Spanish authentic tapas (patatas bravas, spanish omelette, chorizo...) and there is also a good variety for vegetarians. The bravas sauce was delicious and the lentils were really well cooked. I tried medallions of pork with cabarales cheese (Spanish blue cheese) and it was superb. The waiter and waitress were Spanish what we thought made the atmosphere truly authentic and we could practise our Spanish too. The best thing was when we ordered the bill, we all thought it was very well priced, good value for money.
