Bringing the finest in Deep South cuisine to Theatreland, Joe’s Southern Table & Bar offers recipes inspired by the states of Nashville, Tennessee and Kentucky. The bold cocktail list conjures up hot, heady evenings, with classic mixes served alongside creative concoctions dedicated to various mobsters and movie stars.

The Joe’s Southern Table & Bar menu offers simple and satisfying dishes, designed to evoke a homely sense of the American South. Enjoy the likes of gluten-free fried chicken with lemon salt and tabasco honey, mac ‘n’ cheese, and beef short rib.

Joe's restaurant offers an extensive array of drinks, from its downstairs bar Cocktail Baby. A long list of American beers and spirits are served to the sound of southern American music.

Joe’s Southern Table & Bar is an American haven in London, just 3 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station.

Really cool to go to a restaurant that serves actual Southern food (whether or not it's 'authentic' is up for debate, but at least it's there on the menu), and isn't just another burger/retro diner place: A trillion types of whiskey, collard greens, sweet potato casserole, gumbo, chicken skin gravy, the list goes on.
Our food was great, but not American in portion size, so you don't get a ton for your money. Staff were all cool and helpful, it was busy and buzzy (Saturday night in Covent Garden), wonderful rustic decor with more tables on a mezz level. Incredible smells as you walk in - reminded me of Tennessee! We'll be back!

The Southern food here is amazing!! I came with American friends and they all found it delicious too! The honey tobasco chicken is to die for! I've also previously eaten the cat fish also very good! We will be back!

The food was hearty and very tasty. The 20 year olds loved the mac and cheese side and enjoyed their chicken and burgers.
The venue was a bit dark, but good service. Disappointed the cocktails were full price despite a notice on the table saying they were a £5 only.

Great atmosphere and lovely staff. Children's menu is particularly good. Loved my veggie gumbo too. Excellent location in Covent Garden.

The meat dishes were really tasty and the service pretty good. However, the venue falls into the 'gratuitous loud music' category which put us off. When will owners realise that most people visit restaurants to chat and socialise, not compete with raucose artificial noise? Other criticism was the fries. Not proper chips but thin, hard McDonald style fries, not appropriate to a restaurant.
