Flavour-packed house favourites include smoked brisket with a smoky beef jus, and succulent chicken breast topped with 14-hour maple-smoked pulled pork and Emmental cheese. Other classics include, an array of hot dogs, slow-cooked ribs and juicy steaks, as well as the legendary burgers.

Desserts at JD’s Grill restaurant also don’t hold back when it comes to flavour. Discover the likes of Belgian waffles with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream, or American-style pancakes with maple sauce. Winner of the Plymouth City and Waterfronts award for Best Family Restaurant Plymouth, JD’s Grill is a 15-minute walk from Plymouth Rail Station.

Perfect as always, good service, kind staff, not cheap food but the portion size to quality is worth every penny, as long as they never get that pressure to cut the meal sizes like a lot of places do I'll always be a loyal customer and leave a generous tip, Thanks guys x Jue and family , daughter is disabled btw and says the food is well worth the stairs :0)

Very warm welcome from all of the staff. Orders were taken in a timely fashion and food arrived super speedy. They have a classic selection of US style grill-house favourites. Food arrived quickly and piping hot. The mixed platter for two could have easily served three and probably four at a push if you had starters as well so ample portion sizes. It was £17.95 per head but given the amount of food it was still good value. The coffee was decent and the atmosphere was upbeat and pleasant. Booked on-line and requested to be able to use our Gourmet Society membership. The restaurant called us straight back to let us know this was not possible on a Saturday night which was much appreciated and gave us the opportunity to change our minds ahead of arriving. Bill was processed quickly and overall we were very impressed with JD's Grill and would eat there again. Enjoyed the leftover pulled pork for breakfast the next day, two meals for the price of one!!!

The restaurant was very clean and spacious. The staff were all very friendly. I have coeliac disease so have to eat gluten free. There was so much choice on the menu and the staff were very clued up about what I could and couldn't have. I had nachos for starters which I haven't had in over 4 years and they were sensational. My partner had to help me eat them and there was so much. For main I had the mixed grill which was massive. I obviously didn't have the onion rings. I couldn't finish the meal and I was offered a bag to take it home, which was really good. It was great that you had gluten free lager as well, which is vary rare in restaurants.
