Fantastic meal in a really smart and fun environment. Staff and host very welcoming and interested in the people they were serving, chatting freely. Many options on the menu and the food was glorious. The serving staff know the menu well and can talk you through if your undecided on meat, chicken or fish.We were there for a birthday meal and would definitely go back again.

I'm sorry to say I was dissatisfied with my meal as was my husband - it was just a load of ribs and chicken that was dry and hard to eat , it's my 2nd time here - thought wasn't good the 1st time but thought we'd give it another go - won't be going again :(

The service was very quick and efficient. our server was really friendly and polite without being intrusive.
The food was large portions and high quality. it tasted really nice and we were pleased.
the sweet potato fries are great and the bbq chicken.
we thought the restuarant would be good as a place to hire out for a party.

The food was nice however the ribs my husband had (st Louis) were in eatable due to the amount of gristle, small and easy the choke on. I'm disappointed as we had heard sure great reports on the place. Not sure we would eat there again. Which is a sad as the rest of the food was great.

The staff were really patient, as my wife couldn't make her mind up. Plus our friends were running late. But they still managed to take all our food orders and bring the food out hot and at the same time!'

This was our second time eating at JD's and once again it didn't disappoint. I had the St Louis Ribs which had great flavour and were melt in the mouth. My Fiancée had the T-Bone which was cooked to perfection. These guys know meat and if you are after a good steak, burger or ribs look no further.

Nothing more than mediocre. Not enough staff for the volume of customers, food was tasty burger was tough and the waiting staff overlooked us owing to three large parties.

very friendly staff, quick and easy to order. food came out at a very fast time, served hot as usual. food was exceptional, presentation wise there could be improvements such as the napkins. even though they are aesthetically pleasing to view on the plate, it comes in quite inconvenient as it becomes a sloppy tissue of any sauce is soaked into it i.e. ketchup, mayonnaise. very clean tables and seats. love the american style decor, very unique and grungey, my favourite type of decor <3. not a fan of the new menu. been there during the old menu and used to really love the beef in peppercorn sauce burger, but now can't seem to find it on the new menu? however though, food that we ordered still being delivered exceeded our expectations by far. had them hoof and trotters, perfect balance of flavours, one the nicest burgers around by far, one improvement could be maybe a small side of salad on the plate to accompany the burger. worth the money overwise. would definitely recommend to friends if they want a quick and money worth meal.
