I am disappointed and embarrassed about our experience at Jamie's Italian. We had a friend passing through London. She and her daughter had 2 hours in London and I was so excited to take them to Jamie's as they had never been and it is Jamie Oliver! We had to go somewhere near Victoria Station so this was perfect. The restaurant is nice and the service was good but the food was not good at all. Our main courses were sloppy and luke-warm and did not taste as good as expected. I have not had such a bad meal in London for a very long time. We didn't say anything at the time because we didn't have the time (had to catch a train!). I woke up feeling physically upset and really quite cross about wasting £87.65 (including a £15 tip!) on below average food. We thought Jamie's would be a safe and delicious bet but the food (especially main courses) looks and tastes neglected. I feel embarrassed that I suggested we go there! I would very much like to hear back from you before I take to posting on social media and leaving online reviews. Many thanks Tammy

Extremely noisy, and when we asked to have one of the many empty tables at one end of the restaurant, the server told us that we couldn't, as they had been exclusively reserved for use by Jamie's own staff. He could not tell us when these might actually be needed by your own staff, rather than satisfying paying customers.
When I suggested this to the server, he gave me an understanding shrug.

Eventually, after we had been standing for 10 minutes waiting for an answer, we were given a suitable table. During the whole of our visit, there was no sign of ANY company meeting or staff gathering.

The food was very good, but having been here quite a few times I won't be returning.
I suggest you get your act together, and your priorities.
    The noise was extremely unpleasant.
I am a Jamie's Gold Card user, but it looks like I won't be using it again, which is a shame.

it was very good, especially our waitress was very personable and nice and the food tasted nice (tasty and fresh) BUT we had to wait ONE HOUR after we first sat down to receive our first course... something had gone wrong with the process...

The service was terrible. I keep Adkin going to clean the dishes off the table for the second course. We had to wait to be seated. We had a reservation. It was not busy at the time no none of us would go back. The food is as cold. It was bad so disappointed. I could not believe the waiters. They were not going to assist the lady helping us. No not good

Was disappointed with this restaurant today. Following a power failure in the morning a lot of dishes were unavailable. The ovens were not working and you could only order dishes that could be grilled or microwaved, or didn't need cooking! We chose the Italian burger which was delicious but there were no chips - shock, horror! The waitress had mentioned "delicious alternatives" to the unavailable offerings and I did choose the side of brocolli. When the bill arrived this was charged and not actually included as a substitute for the fries! The waiting staff were very apologetic generally about the situation but not much was offered by way of compensation. There are many more similar restaurants in the Cardinal Place area of Victoria and I won't be rushing back to Jamie's Italian in a hurry.

Disappointed with the food and experience. We were expecting something special and more authentically Italian but no. We ended up having a very mediocre steak and chips. Will not return.
