Nice cooking n Service. Special mention is Seb., Very friendly n accommodating. The only odd comment I would like to make is they are really short if staff, making customers queueing to pay. The special menu is really VFM. Will definitely come again when not so busy.

We were a large party of 15 at Jamie's to celebrate two birthdays. We were told to arrive 15 mins uses before the booking to decorate the table and the staff were very accommodating when we wanted to serve two different birthday cakes we had brought with us. Our waiter was very friendly and when everyone ordered different food, which all arrived in good time together. Everyone in our party enjoyed the experience at Jamie's St Albans, including two young children and a baby.

Booking service, easy and quick. Restaurant was easy to find. The greeting was warm and welcoming. We arrived early and was able to get seated immediately. The food was amazing and fantastic value. We had the super lunch menu. I had the truffle tagliatelle, steak and brownie , I have never tasted anything so delicious. I have never experienced a meal that literally provokes a joyous sensation, every mouthful of every course made me smile. We love that there were people of all ages, families, pensioners and even solo diners, all looking relaxed and comfortable. All round excellent, I could not fault it.

Very nice food at reasonable prices, really good staff. We had a group of 6 people last night so it was abit to handle for the staff who couldn't of been better. Only thing that dampens the experience was the £20 service charge. It was abit of a shock because even in Mayfair London you wouldn't charge that much. I would like to apologise to a young blonde women aswell as I was quite drunk and I got very annoyed with the service charge so I had a go at her she couldn't of been nicer I must of seemed horrible
    But overall really amazing experience

My friend and I both had the Italian nachos and salmon linguini from the specials board. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, the atmosphere was nice and waiting staff were lovely.

Delicious food, very friendly waitress. Slow service for some reason on the pork special. Had to wait 1/2 hour for main course although the restaurant was fairly empty.

Food was average. Service wasnt very good, lovely friendly waiter, but not very attentive, the staff were always huddling in groups and chatting too much. Our starters came before our wine and garlic bread nibbles. We had to ask for the wine to be served and the garlic bread came with the main course even though we saw it sitting on the serving shelf for 15 mins. My husbands starter had so much ricotta cheese that the toasted bread was soggy, not what you would expect when ordering a tomato bruchetta. His prawn linguini had no Parmesan and was covered in green rocket, a little you don't mind, but there was definitely too much. His best dish was his dessert, the chocolate pudding. We were unfortunately sat right in front of the kitchen and serving bar, the staff would meet and chat whilst waiting for dishes, the staff would lean against the back of the bench chair making my husband jolt forward, he was not impressed.
