I have been a Gold Member for years now and it was a delight to visit Jamies in St Albans, but how things have changed and not positively. Terrible service, lack of customer attention and portion reductions. I could tell the Jamie Oliver influence when we started eating here and loved it. He would go ballistic if he was experiencing what his customers were. Just not what we expect from the Jamie brand.

Delicious beef burger but porky pizza was not as special

Fantastic food. Most menu items can be made gluten free which is great for other Coeliac's. Our waitress was fully clued up about the dishes and was very helpful. Ambiance of restaurant was nice, perfect for a lunch. We will be going back. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food.

For the 3rd time, in 3 visits, despite booking 5 days in advance on this last occasion, we were seated in the outer part of the restaurant. As I've stated before, it was chilly, compleatly lacking in ambiance, and surrounding by screaming children. We did not enjoy our dining experience, and did not stay for dessert, as we did not feel comfortable.

Lovely friendly waiter who looked after us well. Good tasty food but limited if you can't eat chilli with only one or two options on the menu which is unfortunate.
