Very good service I had the 3 course meal and I believe it could be better! Yes I paid 20 pounds couldn't expect more the starters were ok but the steak was ordered medium rare but it was so hard to cut it took the enjoy out of it!! Also it had not an interesting flavour or anything. The desserts were brownie and tiramisu I rate them 3/10. Nice restaurant though but very loud!!

Good service, handy location, great starters and ..ironically terrible pasta!

The restaurant had some really good food and the atmosphere upstairs was fantastic with the floor to ceiling windows. The only problem in my mind was the scam of being given a £4 bottle of water, how is that price ever justified? Overall though it was a really good place to go for food.

I am a very big fan and come to Jamie's whenever I have a chance. But this specific Jamie's in Reading is not at the same level as the others . Notable as you come on a Saturday night dinner service and the place is almost empty. And the main reason : the food . Tonight mine and my wife's was just not seasoned well . Just lacked taste . And I know the recipes from other Jamie's locations: there are supposed to be good .

Food was v good, but could of done with slightly bigger portions. The waiter was very nice, but the actual service wasn't great. It took over 20 minutes to get our first drink, then another 15mins to order even the first course. Then they brought the wrong drinks. We booked on the £20 per person deal, however, it wasn't until we asked about the menu that they brought it over, so we would of chosen from the main menu & been charged more. The staff seemed over worked and harassed. The restaurant also lacked atmosphere, and decoration was too dark making the place a little dingy. The food was good, but because of the sporadic service and wait time we shall not be returning.

Amazing food. Busy restaurant. Even though we booked we were sat 10 mins after. But team were very apologetic. Floor manager looked like she was the only one doing any work. The guy behind the bar was fantastic. Might want to brush up on the law around minors drinking in a public place. Other than that waitress was brilliant. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

We were seated upstairs after a drink at the bar, lovely waitress and a very attentive host was given a prosecco on the house due to working in the same industry. Starters came which were lovely but my main the linguine was raw, sent it back with the burger so we could eat at the same time which was not a problem as I said we are in the same industry but 20 minutes later no food had returned and the poor waitress was left alone to look after a large table and all the others. We got up and went downstairs as we weren't very hungry anymore and couldn't get her attention. We explained what had happened and they took the mains off the bill but the prosecco was on the bill too. This was taken off and we paid and left. Very apologetic but just some feedback so it is identified and you don't get any bad trip advisors from customers notin the industry.
