    Disappointed
I ordered the small portion of prawn linguine - 3 prawns
The plate was taken away and eventually replaced my fellow diner has finished their meal.
Staff were trying to be friendly but not felt genuine.
I was looking forward to fresh a pasta experience but not one I will want to repeat

This time at Jamie's was disappointing, more so as it was our Valentine meal and due to our work schedules clashing we had not been out to eat for a long time.
From my prospective I know that the lighting was for ambiance however I could hardly read the menu and wished that I had brought a touch so that I could read the menu. When I did make a choice the pate was not available which was a pity as it was really nice and the bruschetta was nice but not what I really wanted as I had checked on line before hand. My wife's starter was fine.
My steak was over powered by the garlic to string in my opinion although the tomato sauce that you made was excellent, My wife's pizza was cold and the extra mozzarella that she asked for was hardly noticeable. The waitress did offer to warm up the pizza or have a replacement made my wife did not want to do this as she has worked in the restaurant industry and was told never to send things back as you do not know what will come back although I am positive that anything like this would happen in your establishment.
At the end of the evening my wife left still hungry so we had to stop of at the Pret a Manger on the way home so that she could get some soup so I spend over £ 50 on a meal with you and she goes home happy on a £ 3 soup go figure.
We have dined with you a few times before and I even proposed there so I do not want to appear to be negative as we have eaten well there before however this time you have fallen well below your usual standards.
Would I recommend you on the standard of this dining experience the answer would be no however on previous visits it would be a yes,
So I would now have to think twice before we book again as this experience shall we say has left a bad teste in the mouth.

Unusual, quirky layout. Modern feel, busy with a good vibe. Glad we were seated on the ground floor as the atmosphere didn't seem as good on the lower ground. Quite pricey though

Food was amazing only thing that let it down was how cold it was we was sat upstairs and literally everytime the door opened it was freezing did ask to move but they didn't have anything available so had to sit there with a jacket on not ideal for a date

Overall a little underwhelmed, food was served lukewarm and tasted a little bland. Dessert was very disappointing! Menu was well written and promised good things but when dishes arrived they did not live up to expectations. Quite an expensive mediocre experience considering they have a captive audience so close to the Theatre - could do better.
