We had to wait when we first arrived, all the staff seemed very busy but once they noticed us they were very helpful
The vegetarian choices were impressive but the actual food when it arrived was disappointing. I ordered the roasted aubergine topped with tomatoes, lentils & raisins, almond yogurt, pine nuts, rocket & pomegranate. What I received was ONE slice of aubergine with a mushy topping of lentils, no raisins or pine nuts, about 3 leaves of rocket and a spoonful of yogurt. This is not a substantial main meal, it should probably be a starter. I ate it in about 3 minutes. I pointed this out to the waitress who helpfully bought another slice of aubergine. Other choices on the Secondi menu include steak, burger, chicken, lamp and pork. Looking around at the amount of food other people had on their plates two slices of aubergine was definitely not value for money. Chefs and cooks please take note: Vegetarians like vegetables! So please give them value for money - pile the plate high with vegetables!!!

Very casual place with tasty food. Service is good, but it was not very full. Their job was easier.

    Great evening

Been to Jamie's (not in oxford) numerous times. Always been very satisfied. But the service on Saturday evening was Poor. It took a long time for the waiter to take our drinks order when we first arrived and then we waited yet again to give our food order. We were informed various inaccuracies regarding what side dishes (e.g. Fries) came with the main courses. One of the starters came out so late the other 8 diners had finished theirs. All in all a very displeasing occasion. 2 of the couples had not been to a Jamie's previously and I doubt they will visit again which is a shame.

Kids ate free which was great. Food was lovely and portion sizes good and great value. We actually arrived at 5.30 when our table was booked for 6pm but we were seated straight away.

Lovely staff but food average. Pork main dry and chewy. Pork crackling starter also dry and lacking flavour. Polenta chips were the real star, such a shame they aren't gluten free, which they easily could be.
