In a building steeped in history and traditionally styled with dark stained wood, Jamie’s Italian Nottingham serves a delightful menu of rustic Italian dishes. A tranquil al fresco dining area is perfect for the warmer months.

Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian in Nottingham showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.

From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.

Combining Italian flair with British elegance, Jamie’s Italian is a 10-minute walk from Nottingham Rail Station.

Excellent food, excellent service, perfect for our friends birthday celebration. Staff extremely accommodating. Would definitely recommend the Venetian fish stew.

Restaurant décor French / shabby chic, well done, comfortable, welcoming. Spotlessly clean, especially the toilets built into Nottingham caves below the restaurant. Booked online, simple, no fuss. Service couldn't be faulted, well informed regarding food and wines. A busy evening but no unnecessary waiting, not rushed, made to feel the only people in the restaurant. Love the opportunity to have smaller plates of food from all main menu dishes, leaves room for dessert! Lots of food choice. All meals enjoyed especially the crispy squid. Not sure about the black spaghetti although the mussels and squid delicious, wouldn't choose black spaghetti again. Will certainly return and definitely recommend. My children aged 14- 22 years love this place.
Best bits, food, service, caves, décor.
    Worst bit, black spaghetti.

The whole ambience of the restaurant was impressive, pasta dishes are the best option for value and quantity, drinks are overpriced

third floor back bedroom, no atmosphere and deco not worth describing (tins of tomatoes for decoration) As we where so high up, we had private WC, dank and hot water tap broken.

Mail event "food" veg croquet start, tasteless. Squid rubbery and over priced. Main course meat balls inedible, with texture of undercooked suet dumplings. Veg risotto was OK but struggled to find much hyped mushrooms and portion was starter size but not priced accordingly.

We talked towards the restaurant past a great looking Italian Cafe Wine bar that was packed. Look it up and bypass Jamies (name only) retail sloppery. Only fit for pig swill.

My wife and daughter went to the restaurant in January. The food was good and so was the service. However, the experience was spoiled by three things: the room was too cold; the chairs were hard wood (with no cushioning); and although the room was empty when we got there, the very next couple to arrive were shown to the table adjacent to us (and later another couple were shoe-horned in on the other side of us, making us feel squashed and inhibited. This despite lots of other tables being free!
