A celebrated venture from world-famous Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Italian Manchester serves creative regional recipes. Set in a Grade II-listed converted bank, library lamp-topped tables and pretty stained glass windows are offset by spectacular charcuterie displays.
Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian in Manchester showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.
From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.
Widely renowned as the jewel in the crown of the highly-regarded chain, Jamie’s Italian restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.

Could not have been better. Chicken Cacciatore was phenomenal, as was the lemon sorbet with mashed honeycomb and berry compote for dessert. The offering of healthy choices mixed with just plain foodie choices makes this my go-to restaurant. Service was terrific as well. And the décor is beautiful.

Three of us were first in at 12. Nice welcome but took us to a rubbish table ie one where any private conversation would be impossible due to close proximity of neighbour tables. We asked for somewhere else and got it no problem. Lovely waiting on staff very attentive. My friends chose from the lunch set menu but I wanted my favourite prawn linguine so I chose a starter from the lunch menu which was Fritos misto?? I asked for the price but the server didn't know. The food was excellent and there were no problems although I was a bit miffed when the starter was £8.45 which I thought was a bit steep but I do don't say anything as I should have insisted on knowing.

Nice enough place just not very special, disappointing that they didn't have any steak left. Think coast to coast or TGIs and you'll get the idea.
