A celebrated venture from world-famous Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Italian Manchester serves creative regional recipes. Set in a Grade II-listed converted bank, library lamp-topped tables and pretty stained glass windows are offset by spectacular charcuterie displays.
Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian in Manchester showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.
From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.
Widely renowned as the jewel in the crown of the highly-regarded chain, Jamie’s Italian restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.

Food took too long to be served. Nothing to write home about. Turkey tasted like leather sole, not hot enough. Garlic bread was delicious though

The waiter was very pleasant, efficient and attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we received our meal as ordered.
We had the Set £20 menu of which the choice was adequate. I chose the crispy squid with garlic mayo- this was lovely and fresh; my husband's pate bruschetta whilst being tasty lacked presentation- just one slice of bruschetta with a smearing of pate served on a plate- not Jamie Oliver standard! Our tagliatelle bolognese was hot ( a bonus with pasta) and plentiful.
The meal was let down by poor desserts; the chocolate brownie was tasteless and the tiramisu was dry
Overall we felt the meal was okay but Jamie's seems to have lost its' pride in presenting high quality food throughout the meal
We will return but wouldn't make it a regular event and we do eat out at least twice a week

We had the £20 special menu. It was really great value for money and very filling. I've been in restaurants before where the food was nice but left me feeling hungry. That wasn't the case here. The service was excellent and the food arrived quickly and at the right temperature. We didn't feel rushed for time and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

Loved the 3 course meal we had at Jamie's Italian. Strongly recommend as I'm already a Gold Club Member. Can't fault the service and atmosphere either. Food is amazing especially liked the Truffle Tagliatelle.

Really enjoyed our starters. They set our expectations for the meal. We were disappointed with the main course, we ordered steak and assumed it would be cooked perfectly because of the restaurant that we were in. Unfortunately the meat was chewy and we didn't enjoy it. Dessert was lovely but overall I think we were disappointed because of our main course. All being said... We did only pay £20 each - you get what you pay for. I would love to go again maybe not on an offer, I saw other diners meals come out from the kitchen and they looked wonderful. I think in future I would eat from the main menu.

Tale of two extremes. The restaurant has a lovely decor and atmosphere, the food was excellent but the service was incredible slow.
