A celebrated venture from world-famous Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Italian Manchester serves creative regional recipes. Set in a Grade II-listed converted bank, library lamp-topped tables and pretty stained glass windows are offset by spectacular charcuterie displays.
Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian in Manchester showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.
From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.
Widely renowned as the jewel in the crown of the highly-regarded chain, Jamie’s Italian restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.

Fantastic! Great food at reasonable prices. Awesome service and a great building.
Its a good job there's another wine menu as the standard chardonnay was not a classic.Instead we went for the £80 bottle and loved it. Why they can't do a cheaper one that's great we don't know.

We loved dining at Jamie Oliver's yesterday. It was a special treat for your eldest daughter's birthday. We had the lunch menu & there was lots of choice. We all enjoyed the olives & breads. Our daughter especially enjoyed her main course of steak & fries. We asked for a table on the mezzanine & we were not disappointed. Fab table & our waitress Racheal was friendly & good fun :)

I have dined here several times with friends very happily so decided to take my family for my daughters graduation. They were looking forward to it as they hadn't been before and had heard good things from me but I have to say we were a little disappointed with some aspects of the experience. Firstly we were seated on a round table right next to the Pasta making machine which was quite noisy. After 5 minutes or so of the constant noise of the machine with no sign of stopping, we asked to be moved and luckily we were seated across the room where it was less noisy. Another group were subsequently seated there and they also asked to move so it seems a little strange that the pasta making machine is in the main restaurant right next to diners. We were in the restaurant about 1 1/2 hours and the machine was operating the whole time which we all thought was a bit offputting. My husband and my son in law asked about beers that were advertised in the menu and were told that there were 2 draught beers available which they ordered but the waiter came back a few minutes later to say that no draught beers were available at all which was a bit disappointing for them. My daughter then got her starter several minutes before the rest of us and our waiter had to chase them up. The food and the service however was very good and everybody enjoyed it but these poor first impressions would probably put them off going back.

Feel a little deflated about this restaurant, not what I expected. Had the set menu, was ok apart from if you order the burger, it literally is just a burger. I waited ages to get the waiters attention to ask about chips that I gave up and just ate the burger. The tiramsu was really nice and the homemade lemonade. I should have really looked into it before i went as I got glammed up for a swanky restaurant but I should have wore jeans.
