A celebrated venture from world-famous Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Italian Manchester serves creative regional recipes. Set in a Grade II-listed converted bank, library lamp-topped tables and pretty stained glass windows are offset by spectacular charcuterie displays.
Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian in Manchester showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.
From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.
Widely renowned as the jewel in the crown of the highly-regarded chain, Jamie’s Italian restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.

When we first walked in it appeared empty which was surprising. We were then shown round the back of the bar area where it was full of happy diners and a brilliant atmosphere! Food was lovely as expected.

The restaurant was top class with one of the best service at a restaurant. They went out of their way and even when I had to get medication they took me personally to the shop. They aren't stingy and do everything to make the experience good, even if that cuts their profits. I dont want to tell all incase people decide to take advantage of their good will. We as a table ordered like half the starters available and it was all eaten and tasted really good and wasn't just your standard starter. Everyone on our table enjoyed their main, the proportions of the food was on point to enjoy a 3 course meal, the desserts were well ballanced and tasted good. Send my praise to the chef, staff behind the bar, staff on the restaurant floor and the friendly manager who is not only invloved leading by example but also runs an exceptional team within the restaurant.
The restaurant inside is unique and quirky in an elegant kind of way.

Loved the atmosphere. Very helpful staff but no hostess at the entrance.

I went here with my friends for dinner on the 3 courses for £18 95 deal. The restaurant is a lovely building, but it has no atmosphere, a little background music would have been nice, the tables are not set, cutlery in a tub in the middle of the table, giving the impression of a cafe. My starter was quite nice, cured meats on a plank, my main was tomato salad with salmon, I expected a mixed salad with tomatoes, but it was a plate of just tomatoes, far too many, the salmon was nicely cooked. This is my first time here, but I wouldn't rush back, there are lots of better restaurants in Manchester.

It was a lovely restaurant, food was okay but not amazing. Each dish was slightly colder than would have liked to have been. And the pudding molten chocolate pudding was almost completely cold and would have been nicer warmer. General quality of food was good. Big table of noisy business people right beside us took away from the experience of a nice relaxed meal. Waiters were good and quick service

It was absolutely brilliant, we got a table on the 1st floor overlooking the rest of the restaurant and it felt luxurious and welcoming. All the servers were absolutely lovely and when we wanted a little cigarette break between courses our server was really lovely about it and she was so observant, kept refilling our water at just the right moment. We got three courses each, and each little bite was exquisite. I'm thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. They manage to make it luxurious and delicious, but at the same time you get that homey and down to earth vibe. Loved it!!

It was average. Very nice staff. Very expensive and didn't live up to recommendations. Nice venue.
