Excellent service, our waitress introduced us to and explained the new dishes. Food arrived promptly and the food was delicious especially the superfood salad. Everything was very good, we have eaten here in the past so no disappointments, and with the gold card we also received a discount.

A celebrated venture from world-famous Jamie Oliver, Jamie’s Italian Manchester serves creative regional recipes. Set in a Grade II-listed converted bank, library lamp-topped tables and pretty stained glass windows are offset by spectacular charcuterie displays.

Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian in Manchester showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.

From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.

Widely renowned as the jewel in the crown of the highly-regarded chain, Jamie’s Italian restaurant is a 5-minute walk from Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre.

We have been to this restaurant before and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, but last night was very disappointed. Whilst the waiter was very considerate there was a considerable delay in our main course being served resuting in it being just warm whilst veg very hot!. Whilst they did not charge for the 1 item that was barey warm unfortunately it spoilt the experience for both myself and my husband.

I visited this restaurant with a Groupon deal costing £31, by the time we had a glass of wine a coffee and a small garlic bread it cost me another £28.
I had an Italian steak and fries which wasn't quite what I expected, the fries were exactly the same as a fast food outlet fries and the steak was so thin and pretty unappetising. My wife had crab spaghetti which really had very little crab in it, but she said it was ok.
In reality it was a mediocre meal and nothing more.
Luckily the staff were good and very attentive.

It was quite obvious to me that we were paying more for the name of the restaurant and not for anything special with the food.

We booked our table for 8.15 pm we were very late being shown to our table. By 9.30 pm we still had not had any food brought to us. When our starters arrived they came at intervals. The last starter had not arrived by the time that the rest of us had finished ours. The food was average and very salty, I did not expect to have to pay extra for fries when I ordered the burger. Coffees arrived before our sweets which was poor. On the whole I would not rush back even for the £20.00 deal. The restaurant is too big for the number of staff.

Nice place, former high st bank, but the food was nothing special. I've eaten much better at other Italian food chains. They added far too much salt to each dish served.
