We had a lovely meal for my wife's birthday. I would even say it was the best burger I have ever eaten.

We arrived for a drink at the bar. It wasn't busy and asked the barman to bring over our drinks. He was lovely and agreed, but then arrived and said he'd been told he couldn't do that! When we went to our table, the friend who'd put her card behind the bar while we'd been sitting there, went to retrieve it and asked for the drinks to be added to our bill. The barwomen who'd said drinks could not be delivered was curt and said that the key should be kept until the end when it could then be carried over - bizarre. Meant we nearly forgot about the drinks and she almost forgot to collect her credit card. Somewhat strange start to the evening.

We had the set meal for £20. Tomato bruschetta seemed to be cheese with the odd tomato! Burger was good as was dessert. Good and friendly table service. Wine was drinkable and affordable! It was a pleasant evening apart from the barwomen at the start!

We had a sharing board to start which was very nice and not over large for a starter . Main courses one of pork belly and one of steak. The pork belly was well cooked with nice crackling , the steak which I have served rare was also well cooked a side order of greens was a good accompaniment. The raspberry flavoured prosecco was enjoyable as was the Chianti and Pinot Grigio rose. The restaurant was very busy so booking a table is probably a good idea , and due to that fact the ambient noise level is quite high. The cost for our meal and wine was just over £110 , and will eat here again if we are in this part of London.

It was OK, but disappointed with the lasagne one of my party had, it was very overcooked and dry
