Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Menu at first sight seems rather ordinary, with somewhat limited choice, but each item has a special twist to it (even the olives starter snack) and the food is really delicious! We'll definitely be returning!

The staff were very friendly and efficient but the food was very ordinary. We were disappointed. I have been to Jamie's a number of times recently but have found that he main menu is uninspiring.i have put two stars for the food but it keeps changing.

Food was beautifully presented, had reasonable portions and tasted great. The staff were attentive and friendly and very knowledgable about the menu. General ambiance was upbeat without being noisy
We really can't say enough about what a great experience it was, wellobe going back again soon to try the new menu!

Very disappointing. We waited half an hour for our drinks/pork crackling nibbles, and they had run out of my choice of wine by the glass, then my sub ginger mojito was mainly crushed ice and sugar (undrinkable). The 'silky' carbonara was very dry (clearly it had been left standing under a heater for quite while) and the 'juicy' roasted porchetta very dry with outer crackling being chewy not crunchy (the meat was anything but 'juicy'!). We were quite under whelmed by the whole experience with at least a half hour wait in between courses and even service at the onset was very slow. We cut our losses and opted to give desert and coffee a miss (on our previous visit one desert was poor for which we received free coffees - these were excellent and I couldn't recommend the Kimbo coffee enough so had been looking forward to this!). It took well over an hour and half for two courses.....the poor staff were run ragged and in credit to them they deducted the drinks and carbonara off the final bill. As ever, the staff were very friendly and warm and happy to receive feedback (although we didn't get a check in once our main meal had arrived so we just ploughed on to make the best of it). Not sure what happened, but clearly the place was far too busy to cope with the volume of customers and deliver the standard one would expect from one of Jaimie's restaurants. I doubt we'll be going again, which is a shame, however, I really have to give credit to the staff for trying to make good which doesn't happen many places these days. Shame as we like the vibe and location very much

Good location in Kingston. Love Jaimie's menu particularly the mixed salad that's really good for you - can't remember what it is called. Also, the portion sizes are good.

Lovely meal. We ordered garlic bread, lasagne, the burger plus a kids pasta bake. Food was all lovely and tasty.
Our only issue was it took a very long for our main course to arrive and with two young children desperate to eat, it wasnt a particularly relaxing time. It took approx an hour from sitting down to us getting our main course, and we only had garlic bread as a starter.

Nice place; lovely location; good original menu; very well planned and organised; exceptionally friendly staff - but sadly now complacent and lazy cooking. "Crispy" squid almost raw with mushy uncooked batter; then 55 minute wait for stone cold and overcooked steak which had obviously been waiting on side for sea-bass to be cooked - and which was perfect!
