Food nice. I had prawn linguine. Very salty though.
    Service very average

I thought the staff were very efficient and always willing to help. The food was very good. My favourite dish I have to say was a pudding. The baked cheesecake and the peanut butter ice cream.

Food was very good. Home made ketchup and mayo particularly nice. Staff friendly but service a bit slow

I was dissapointed with the restaurant. I've been there before about a year ago and we had a lovely meal so I ignored the bad reviews and thought we'd give it a go. The food was ok but absolutely not worth the money. We both had the flank steak and it was dry, slightly cold and only tasty because it was smothered in garlic butter. Starters were better. The meat plank was good. The house wine and prosecco were lovely. I was very happy that I used a voucher for this meal because to have paid £60 for what we had (for two people), I'd have been very upset.

We were very disappointed. The "bread basket" consisted 3 tiny pieces of cold bread on a wooden board. A salad from the starter menu was watery and lacked flavour. The crab starter contained very little crab. A steak from the main menu was small and bland. The veggie burger was tasteless and the funky fries were mediocre. We were excited at the prospect of dining at this restaurant, however it failed to come up to expectations. Also, the waitress did not say thank you for our payment. We will not be returning as there are many other good restaurants in Guildford offering much better food. Perhaps JO should visit this restaurant and inject some originality as he is known for?

Slow service and very, very small portions. I'm a small eater and left hungry after having the lasagne for lunch - my mum had the same problem with the bolognese (which turned up cold). Lovely cocktails and friendly staff, but very expensive for the amount you get. Heard at least 3 tables around us complaining too.

Good food, we both has flash steaks which were yummy, and pasta for the toddlers. There were lots of families and loads of high chairs and good food menu for kids.
