On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table by a friendly chatty young lady. The restaurant is in a wonderful setting on Rose Street and the interior is fantastic offering a relaxing and engaging dining experience. The staff were all very friendly and informative, and we never felt rushed. We were even asked if we wanted to rest a while before we ordered our sweets! The food was sublime and we would definitely come again when we visit Edinburgh next. I will certainly be recommending this restaurant to our friends and family. It is a must do to top off your visit to Edinburgh!

Wonderful atmosphere, great service & fairly good food although the menu was somewhat limited. Would definately visit again but wouldn't choose the 18 hour cooking time lamb which was very mushy! Starter of pasta pomodoro nearly as good as the best I've ever had (in Verona), and my wife.s pasta with musrooms was exceptionally good. Nice bread basket. Overall good value for money.

The food was amazing- as usual at Jamies Italian! Just thought it would be abit more Christmassy- as it was a Christmas dinner. But that is my only criticism because we all walked away satisfied to the max with Jamies amazing food!!

Lovely experience. Waitress very efficient. As an older person it was nice to have the choice of a smaller portion so I had room for a yummy desert.. Maybe a little noisey for me.

Very disappointed in some of the food served. The crab and spaghetti contained minuscule amounts of crab, one of the steaks was poor and tasteless, the overall impression was disappointing.
