It was very noisy and we couldn`t hear each other very well and not particularly comfy. The food was very good.

Great location in historic building that had been sympathetically refurbished. Service was excellent, our waitress was friendly and attentive but not overly so. The food was fabulous. We shared and antipasto board and both opted for the 35 day aged sirloin. It was cooked exactly how we asked for it and we found the whole meal faultless. Would definitely visit again .

We had the 3 course meal for £18.95. Lovely good as always- this is my third visit - and it was consistently good. Just the right portion size and try as I might couldn't finish the epic brownie ... Believe me I really did want to!!! Beautifully presented, lovely atmosphere and great mocktails for those who have to drive. Can't wait to go again!!

I felt a bit disappointed and deflated after our Meal on Saturday night if I am honest. We went in January for the first time and loved it which is why we booked it again for my Mother in Laws Birthday. Firstly, we booked ages ago an offer for 3 courses for £20, and found that when we received confirmation last week it had been reduced to £18.95 - BONUS!! However when we got there the waitress told us that they don't offer this menu on a Saturday, and after I explained that we booked this offer and date together she did us what seemed like a massive favour that we should be entirely grateful for, and let us order from that menu. We asked if instead of ordering starters it would be possible just to have a little bit of bread for the table, as we didn't want to be too full for dessert and would still be happy to pay the full price for 3 courses - however were told no. when they brought out the main menu my burger was very very pink in the middle and only Luke warm, and they forgot to bring the fries that we had ordered too. My husband and mother in law also said they were disappointed in the quality of the meals - as everything seemed to be bland. Overall, not sure we will return to Jamies Italian - well, not that one at least. The service from staff seemed sombre and not forthcoming despite the restaurant being less than 25% full.
