Set within a majestic Grade II-listed building, Jamie’s Italian Cambridge serves sumptuous Italian treats from the industry giant, Jamie Oliver. Obscure bauble light fittings and retro tiling across the bar evoke an on-trend vibe.

Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.

From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection at Jamie's Italian in Cambridge. A unique twist for younger diners sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.

Within a prime setting in the revamped Guildhall, Jamie’s Italian Cambridge is encircled by the historic colleges of the University of Cambridge.

Really bad, I expected bigger portions, better food and the service was very very slow. The man who severed us seemed sarcastic and rude and overall I thought it was very over priced for the service provided.

Excited to visit here with some Belgian & French colleagues who were fans of Jamie Oliver's projects and his achievements. We were sadly let down by one of the waiters who did not quite have the friendly welcoming approach we had anticipated. The food was enjoyable but the experience of a rude waiter who was not readily accommodating his guests, using a sarcastic tone and even swore in front of me was not something I would wish to repeat.

Booked for 8.30pm, table wasn't ready and we were asked to wait in the bar. Ordered Jamie's Mojitos, have had better - seemed to have a funny after tang. Sat down at 9pm and although we booked the £20 for 3 courses deal we were given the normal menu & had to ask waitress for the other menu. Ordered drinks, bottle of wine arrived within minutes but the other drink ordered for one of our party didn't arrive & after waiting for 10 minutes, had to ask the waitress where it was. Starters were ok, looked better than they tasted. All 4 of us ordered steak but where not asked how we wanted them cooked. When they arrived the steaks seemed to have a smokey sausage flavour like they had been cooked with or next to something else & taken on their flavour. We didn't bother with dessert, waitress was pretty helpful but not particularly attentive & came across as pretty miffed that we hadn't left her a huge tip. One last thing, there was food & childrens crayons under our table & bits of food on one of the seats. Appreciate it was a busy Saturday night but could have been cleaned up a bit better. My first experience of Jamie's Italian, not wowed but would definitely try again to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Unfortunately the experience wasn't what we hoped to have had. The Latvian waiter was extremely good and very helpful. However, the meals were disappointing. The flavour of the Linguine with Prawns and Langoustine tails was quite bland as was my wifes Aubergine meal. My daughters steak was very tough. It was extremely hot near the bar area where we were sitting. There was no air conditioning or fans which surprised us. Our table surface was sticky and the overall cleanliness was below what we had expected.

It was very busy, but the staff were very friendly (especially with the kids) and didn't rush us. They were also very accommodating with my son's allergies and provided good entertainment for the kids. The food was great!
