Jamie’s Italian Angel brings an authentic feel of rural Italy to the heart of Islington. Rustic Mediterranean dishes are served in simple yet contemporary surroundings that also offer al fresco dining.

Launched in partnership with Jamie’s Italian mentor, Gennaro Contaldo, the menu at Jamie's Italian showcases dishes made with responsibly sourced, high-welfare and sustainable ingredients. Tuck into food you’d find people eating all over Italy, including pasta that's hand made on-site every morning, sumptuous antipasti planks loaded with delicious ingredients, and fresh meat and fish dishes.

From the bar you can order from a selection of easy-drinking wines, served alongside ‘Jamie’s choice’ vintages, whilst the Florence Fizz heads a vibrant cocktail selection. A unique twist for younger diners at Jamie's Italian in London sees them select their award-winning food choices from a viewfinder menu.

Jamie’s Italian Angel draws diners in with its welcoming ambience, and is 9 minutes’ walk from Old Street Tube Station.

Very nice, enjoyed both courses on the lunch menu, had the club. Staff were friendly and attentive even when very busy, offered us free drink when I got my wife's order wrong which was nice, but we didn't accept as it was my mistake. Nice level of lighting. Menu was good value

Mixed really. Late getting seated although we arrived on time. My friend's food was cold and we sent it back. Her mother ordered the special and waited some time for it. The rest of the table were already eating before she was told that it was unavailable and had to order something else. The food portions were not generous and the steak came with a very odd red cabbage slaw which appeared on several other dishes...a rather pointless and tasteless side dish. ... The pasta was good and hot however and the wait staff apologetic and polite. Probably won't go there again

Location: Perfect for pre-theatre dinner before a performance at Sadler's Wells.
Service: Perfect; in the bar, at receptionand and at the table.
Drinks: Great; really good cocktails in the bar and good choice of wine at the table. Particularly lied being able to order house wine by the carafe in different sizes.
Food: Variable; the starters were all very good (the crab spaghetti and penne dishes); the truffle pizza and the Jamie's burgers were overcooked. It's a bit telling that you can't order how you want your burger cooked, only comes as well done - suggests that the quality of the meat isn't good enough.
