Viaggio, an Italian steakhouse, serves steaks, seafood and Italian cuisine. Chef Tony DiSalvo has earned the 2008 Mobil Travel Guide's four-star rating, which is quite an honour considering only three restaurants in San Diego have been awarded four stars. Chef Tony's homemade pastas and sweetcorn raviolini with Maine lobster, pancetta, tomato and basil are inspired by his grandmother, who got him interested in cooking at an early age. He has also been influenced by his previous experiences as a chef, including two and a half years as the Chef de Cuisine at a three Michelin starred restaurant in New York. Tony's dedication to fresh ingredients, his simple yet elegant style, flawless technique, and uniquely Italian sensibility make Viaggio a necessity for anyone who loves cooking and eating Italian food.
