We dined at Jabula last night at 8pm - a thursday. Wasn't too busy and the atmosphere was perfect. Just the right amount of bustle and noise. We have dined here a few times and we keep coming back because the staff and the food are fantastic and also the location is so nice, looking over the water and at night it's lit up perfectly. The staff are so accomodating and explain what all the food is and recommend different meals if they think they would suit you more. We had a trial to do as one of us is going travelling and we were celebrating - such great fun! Always make you feel welcome and you leave the restaurant feeling comfortably full and happy. Will keep on visiting for sure Thank you for a great night

We first 'found' Jabula some 3 years ago and tend to go on special occasions the service has always been top notch and the food equally as good. The menu is quite varied but we only ever eat south african, totally recommended. Although some may consider Jabula to be out of the way, the total experience is well worth the effort. We have been eight or nine times now, think that says it all,

Never eaten such tasty food in my entire life. The 'game platter' is a must. There were fantastic burst of flavour in every mouthful and the meal was finished off perfectly with a trio of deserts.

Jabula is one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten in. The food is beautifully cooked and presented and always very fresh. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the welcome is the same. The staff are attentive, very friendly, incredibly accomodating and professional. I had my hen night there and they made it really special. Whether eating there with friends, as a couple or with our children the welcome and service has been consistent ( the staff were very sweet to our baby ). Top marks for a top restaurant - a real jewel!!!!!!!! You're missing out if you haven't tried it yet.

dined at Jabula for the first time on a Saturday 7pm. Restaurant was fairly busy. Waiters and Waitresses not very attentive. For example, one of them brought a jug of water, but did not bring any glasses. had to ask for glasses ourselves. Also, when another waitress came to collect the dishes, she dropped a piece of crockery on the floor, which caused sauce to spill all over my wife's jacket.

Had a evening meal to celebrate a birthday with family on Sunday, 15.04.12 at 6.30pm. Staff made the birthday boy feel very special. Very intimate, personal and enjoyable environment and gave us a taste of home that is sorely missed. It's a pity the location of the restaurant is not closer to where we reside however we are prepared to travel again to use the restaurant as the service, food and atmosphere were excellent. Next time we book a table we will request in advance "Melktert and Koeksisters" as unfortunately these had sold out on Sunday.

Myself and a friend dined on a Friday evening 7 PM. We both had a game Africa which was excellent. On Friday evenings they have authentic drummers, this added to a lovely atmosphere.
