Indigo at One Aldwych Hotel showcases thoughtful, innovative food, which is carefully sourced, exquisitely prepared and entirely gluten and dairy-free. In the heart of the West End, Indigo is a vibrant hotspot from breakfast through to dinner.

The Indigo menu is crafted by Executive Chef Dominic Teague from the state-of-the-art kitchen. Showcasing inventive dishes, all food is beautiful prepared and gluten and dairy-free, without compromising on quality ingredients or taste. From quinoa, Jerusalem artichoke, pomegranate and smoked almonds salad, in-house baked samphire bread and Rhug Estate Lamb to a decadent Amedei chocolate mousse, these are dishes that stand up on their own.

Desserts at Indigo Covent Garden are no less enticing. Try chocolate mousse with honeycomb and almond milk ice cream, or wild strawberries with Nyetimber wine and basil.

Committed to renowned suppliers and expert foragers, Indigo in London blends traditional British food with gentle invention. Covent Garden and Temple tube stations are both a short walk away.

Lovely modern restaurant. The big thing for me was that their whole menu is gluten and dairy free. Sage and onion bread was tasty and different. Lamb starter was lovely, proper crispy battered fish and chips gorgeous.

We (6 of us) were celebrating my daughters birthday, and as a coeliac I chose Indigo. Unfortunately we were all a little disappointed. I really enjoyed the bread but the rest of my party weren't that keen. Then our staters were ok. I was really looking forward to the beer batteredfish and chips because as a coeliac I can never have this normally. Only to be told it was unavailable. I did however enjoy the turbot and 4 of our party had steak which they all really enjoyed. But again as a coeliac this is usually something I could always eat. The chips were delicious. And I didn't need to worry about cc which was great although they do advise that the kitchen cannot be guaranteed completely gluten free but I'm assuming this is only because they are not accredited by Coeliac UK?
Overall we had a very enjoyable evening.

Had a superb time at Indigo Restaurant. Attentive but discrete staff. Delicious meal. I had Gnocchi with peas and asparagus. Lovely textures and delicious flavours. Desert (polenta cake and lemon sorbet) was divine. Will definitely eat there again. Real relief to eat out somewhere that my allergies don't cause major problems. Still found something I couldn't eat, but our waiter was sympathetic and considerate and suggested great alternatives without making me feel odd or different. Shame I live so far otherwise, I'd be there every week.

Nice buzzy atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff and good food.
Wines by the glass were only served in 175ml measures but a carafe would have been too much for one person - my friend wanted red and I wanted white - it would have been nice to have the option of a larger glass.

    Excellent service
Food was really good but expensive . £5 for a coffee was extortionate .
