Excellent service amazing food! My partner has coeliac disease and hasn't had batter with fish for over 20 years she thought it was Devine and the deconstructed polenta cake was orgasmic! Lovely evening had by all.

Indigo at One Aldwych Hotel showcases thoughtful, innovative food, which is carefully sourced, exquisitely prepared and entirely gluten and dairy-free. In the heart of the West End, Indigo is a vibrant hotspot from breakfast through to dinner.

The Indigo menu is crafted by Executive Chef Dominic Teague from the state-of-the-art kitchen. Showcasing inventive dishes, all food is beautiful prepared and gluten and dairy-free, without compromising on quality ingredients or taste. From quinoa, Jerusalem artichoke, pomegranate and smoked almonds salad, in-house baked samphire bread and Rhug Estate Lamb to a decadent Amedei chocolate mousse, these are dishes that stand up on their own.

Desserts at Indigo Covent Garden are no less enticing. Try chocolate mousse with honeycomb and almond milk ice cream, or wild strawberries with Nyetimber wine and basil.

Committed to renowned suppliers and expert foragers, Indigo in London blends traditional British food with gentle invention. Covent Garden and Temple tube stations are both a short walk away.

A lavishly designed restaurant with comfortable chairs and attentive staff. They had a new member of staff (or at least it seemed) who was a bit disheartened and disengaged from his job so he was quite moppy (He wasn't serving us). Extremely tall so was very noticeable every time he went past the table. I almost wanted to get up and have a chat with him about his unhappiness. But I resisted.

The food was okay, it was lukewarm but charred (it was chargrilled lamb) when it arrived. So that confused me. I thought the food in all was over complicated and pretentious. My favourite restaurant in London is Rules and it was certainly no Rules.

I believe it could be a fine restaurant by simplifying the food choice, keeping new starters off the dinner service and ensuring strict training guidance for them. Oh yes, one more thing, they need to be wearing belts with their trousers. They looked scruffy without.

I wouldn't yet recommend this to a friend. But I may return in the future to see if the restaurant has heeded my advice. I do live just across the river, so not far from me.

A really nice dining experience in the heart of theatreland.
We chose this restaurant as we were in the West End and had read that the entire menu is Gluten and Dairy free. My wife has to have a Gluten Free diet so this was ideal. It made a refreshing change not to have to ask what she could and could not order. This can be something of a minefield in many eateries!
All 3 courses were spot on. The lamb and the steak mains were both cooked exactly as we requested and we both had a really lovely meal. The service was excellent and prices good value for central London. The wine and drinks seemed rather pricey but my wife doesn't drink alcohol at all and I only a little so we weren't really bothered.
Will definitely return and have no hesitation recommending this restaurant regardless of whether you have special dietary requirements or not.

Good service with a fine table on the balcony. The dinner of lamb was not top quality. We had expected better quality.

+Marvellous find, especially for pre theatre meal. Dined with friend who does not eat dairy. We all had fish off the main menu, two of us had the monkfish, the others, the halibut. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food and the shared blackcurrant pavlova was marvellous. Very pleasant dining space with well-spaced tables and comfortable seats. Service excellent.

The restaurant itself has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff saw to us straight away and were very polite, we were treated very well. We both had pork for Starter and Fish/chips for main, then shared a Rasberry Pavlova all of which were extremely nice! A real treat for my partner who has cealiacs. We will be back very soon to try some other food.

Great time at the restaurant. The themed afternoon tea was a delight. The staff were very helpful and well mannered. Favourite bit was the Chocolate egg with cheesecake filling.....Mmmmm.

Indigo is the perfect restaurant for important business dining. The food, service, and ambience are impeccable. Unlike many other high class restaurants the spacing of the tables enables private and discrete conversations in a relaxed and professional environment. It is my restaurant of choice for VIP clients.

A stylish restaurant in the West End, part of five star hotel One Aldwych just off the Strand. Many musical theaters, Covent Garden and Somerset House just around the corner, this offers a high end option for this busy area. There is a great cocktail list with interesting and tasty choices, the menu is varied modern British with some excellent choices. The whole menu is Gluten and Dairy free which is a real relief for some and a surprise for others - because you really can't tell. Prices are on the upper end but this is to be expected and for that special occasion this restaurant is highly recommended.
