We had excellent food, very fresh very tasty. We were welcomed with delicious amuses bouches and given petits fours with our coffee. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the waitress helpful and cheerful.

Under new management this is the first time we return and will be the last.Deco looks a bit before)
The linguine starter was poor and we suspect they used.cooked mixed.seafood instead of fresh.ones as they tasted.rubbery. The pasta was overcooked and the whole dish tasted unfresh Risotto starter tasted better
Main courses were mediocre given.the price they.charged Sea bass was dry
We asked.for the cost of starters to be removed.which they did but given.that we complained during the.course (and no feedback.from chef) we would have expected them to.deduct it without us asking
Very disappointing as the previous management has built up.a good dining experience.and has gone downhill

We had a wonderful meal in this wonderful restaurant. It's such a pretty building in a lovely location and the décor is lovely. But I must say the service is the best thing. Liz, the manager, went beyond what I would expect any venue to do and I was extremely touched by her consideration. I wasn't clear with my dietary requirements so Liz called to advise me there were only 2 items on the menu I could eat, but that the chef was prepared to buy special meat for me so I could have a wider choice....amazing! I have told everyone about the lengths Incanto were prepared to go to and I truly wish this restaurant all the success in the world and recognition for their kindness.

The bruschetta at the start of the meal and petit four at the end is a wonderful touch and the food in between is truly delicious. We visited on a Friday evening and the restaurant filled up whilst we dined, but the service never slacked and the ambience was lovely....each table engrossed in their conversations but nothing too loud or disturbing. We ordered the whole bass, beef shin and ravioli, all of which was delicious. For dessert, unfortunately there was nothing on the menu I could have, but the waitress checked with the chef and some refreshing mango and berry sorbet was brought out for me. My friends had the panna cotta and tiramisu...both of which didn't last very long!

I was please with the food, It came out hot and was well presented and tasted beautiful. So everything else, it felt very cramped, we was on a 2 seated table on the left hand side of the restaurant and had to squeeze past the 4 seated tables to be seated. Menu's were given straight away and the couldn't be quick enough to take your order, then comes the wait!! possibly 20 mins later the starter arrives, my wife asked for pepper, a further 6 mins later the pepper arrives on our table!! Apparently there was no salt and pepper mills that worked!! Mains came not long after we finished the starters, which was good. We had to advise our waitress that we didn't have a knife and fork for our mains though!!
Then came to the wait for the dessert menu, possibly 20-25 minute wait, it got to the point were we where ready to get up and walk!! as we were waiting we noticed people having to help themselves to their coats as know one seemed to want to help them.
The waiting staff seemed to shadow each other quite a lot as well, which seemed a bit weird as one would be serving the food to customers and the other would simply stand and watch.
All in all the food was good but not outstand like some people have stated.
The waiting staff need a lot of work as it was overall very rushed, confused and not really knowing what is going on.
The restaurant has a good feel but a bit cramped

So disappointed! This used to be one of my favourite restaurants but is now under new ownership. Food is now very average and grossly overpriced for what it is. We didn't eat anything I couldn't have cooked myself, and I would have been embarrassed to serve a tomato and mozzarella salad fridge cold with tasteless tomatoes and an osso bucco that was tough and chewy. This used to be a local gem, but is now sadly not worth bothering with.

We didn't stay for dinner because we were informed that they had changed the menu and it wasn't the same as the ones on various online websites. Gone were the plenty of vegetarian choices. Gone were the pizzas. There were 2 dishes on offer for vegetarians, one of which was with goats cheese that we don't enjoy.

Very good friendly service by main waitresses-obviously under pressure from a lack of trained staff and a slow kitchen. Main meal very late. On hte whole nice simple menu and food OK but nothing special. Could have done with vegetables on plate or on offer as sides. 6boiled potatoes and a whole fish on a plate doesn't look much for the price. Has only just re-opened may improve. Pricey evening

Been to this restaurant many times for dinner under the previous management and always satisfied. This time we tried it out for a family lunch , 2 adults + 2 kids. Unfortunately, the kids menu was limited to two dishes and worse still, the portions were really small. We had to order some more food. So not great value for money at all and very poor consideration for the kids menu. The ambience was not quite the same as before, but perhaps it is different at dinner time. Risotto was nice; service was good and staff were attentive. Just think more attention should be give to "the family" concept for a sunday lunch - more appropriate menus and selection for kids.
