We were very excited to be coming to Inamo for dinner on the Sunday night of Bank Holiday. Sadly our excitement didn't last long. Firstly we had drinks at the bar as we arrived slightly early, 2 of the cocktails the group ordered the barman said he couldn't do because he had run out of ingredients. We waited for a waitress to come over to explain the set menu and in the end had to call someone over, had to ask for the bottle of wine we ordered twice - took 25 minutes to arrive. We finished our starters, no one came to clear plates and glasses so we had to clear them ourselves onto the next empty table so the mains could be placed on our table. When we asked if they could clear it away we were met with a look of disdain and NO apology. Over the entire meal we probably expressed our unhappiness with the service to 4 different members of staff. It was not until we asked for the service to be taken off our bill (which took 20 minutes to arrive) the manager finally came over to offer the first apology of the night, but said that that they had a big table and was sorry our section had been over looked. We were then offered a bottle of prosecco as a good will gesture, which we kindly refused as we couldn't wait to get out of there!

Great experience. Autistic daughter managed as she didn't need to speak to anyone to order. Please could allergy information be clearer. I'm gluten free and couldn't easily see what was gluten free options.

The decor and concept are great and the food is very tasty. Our deal offered value for money and I would recommend this spot pre cinema or theatre or for lunch with children. The charming staff deserve a special mention and are well worthy of the service charge.

Restaurant = fun. Food = ok/good. Service= bad. The restaurant is a novelty, the interactive menu (which is really easy to use and also allows you to change the tablecloth, play games, see into the kitchen and check local transport!) is fun and definitely what you focus a lot of you're attention on. We had the thee course and cocktail for £20, food was ok, some of the other stuff on the menu looked really nice though. However the service is bad! We were told to wait at the bar as our table wasn't ready yet, after 15 minutes I went back to the desk to ask how long we would have to wait and she had forgotten all about us! After we were sat we were given a table that hadn't been 'activated' so we had to move. Then told we only had 5 minutes to order as the deal stopped serving at 7.15... Even though we'd been there since 18.45. Ordered food and a cocktail, starter came quickly, main very soon after, cocktail didn't come however until we'd finished our meal! When I asked where they were a waiver said that they were probably on their way! When they were clearing out main away they asked if we wanted our deserts now, we said yes, but had to wait 45 minutes and had to ask twice before we got them. (And they aren't lying when they say they're mini deserts). The only thing that came quickly was the check, we told the waitress service had been slow and she said it was because they were understaffed, having read other reviews they must be understaffed a lot! Anyway worth it for the experience and the food, don't expect more that 2* service though, and make sure you're not In a rush!!
