We reserved and got a confirmed booking at Inamo. I luckily passed by 45 minutes before our time and poped in to see that everything was allright. It was not. No booking was to be found even I had the confirmation email in my phone. Asking if we could sit down we were declined due to the bar was closed. IT was also some sour scent in the restaurant that made me uneager to take the fight to get a table. We went back to the bar were we came from further down the street (J+R Rye), a really nice grill bar with excellent staff and good food too. We had a great dinner. But not at Inamos...

Firstly, we were turned away at the restaurant as they didn't have our booking. Quite embarrassing considering I had booked and got a confirmation. They would not accommodate our booking therefore I walked to the Covent Garden branch in hope for a table. They were very understanding and apologies on behalf of SOHO. Once we finally got a table at another restaurant the food was really good and the deal was worth the money.

Interactive tables were really cool and fun! But the food wasn't up to scratch, if we hadn't had an offer I would would have went food back! Worth a try just for the tables but book an offer so you don't spend too much!

Fun interactive experience, but overall service was mediocre. However, this seemed to be down to them being understaffed more than anything else. Food arrived quickly, but drinks were hard to come by. The 'tapas' items were HUGE!! Way too much. Would have been happier with dishes 1/2 or even 1/4 the size which would have allowed us to try more.
If you've got a big appetite then the 'all you can eat' is great. Otherwise stick to the normal menu.

I was excited to take my partner for his first inamo experience after I last visited the covent garden site and fell in love. Unfortunately this was an embarrassment. I will never go to the wardour street site ever again. Rude welcome when we were told a time we had to be out by, no smiles from any staff, main course coming an hour after we sat down, 2 bits of fish in my fish curry, rude service from the host to a nearby table who were just given the bill and then offered a card machine before they had even received their desserts. Then the next table were stood behind me and were told "these have got the bill so they'll be gone very shortly for you". We both work in hospitality so can appreciate needing to turn tables and delays on food but this was just awful. We asked for a waiter via our table and waited 7 minutes. I work in a restaurant with over 200 covers so in comparison to the size of this site I really don't see what took so long. My advice is to go to covent garden, lovely lay out, great staff, great food. Avoid wardour street at all costs, I wouldn't even recommend it to my worst enemy.

Great concept and fun but good and service both poor

The ordering service concept is really cool, however a bit out dated with the technology, not very quick to select all your courses. Would recommend getting the 4 courses for £20 as the food isn't that great. The starter came out cold and too salty (miso soup) very little tofu in it. My friend order the chicken soup option and that came out cold also. The main had too much salt. They only have one option for egg-free dessert. The service wasn't that great, overall it was a okay experience nothing to rave about.

Was a good visit - but service was a little hit and miss had to keep asking for assistance it was probably because they had a celebrity guest also dining but it would still have been good to get service at the other tables as it was all the waitresses seemed very preoccupied with serving the celeb table so it was hard to get any attention.
We ordered the tasting menu but it seemed very rushed and they brought all the food at the same time which meant we had dishes for 20 dishes for 4 people all on one table to eat at the same time. They didn't check if we were ok they just rushed off to take selfies with the celeb who was by then leaving our table was so packed that they had to put some of our food on anther table behind ours. It meant that most of it was cold coming straight from the Kitchen which was unacceptable. I recently had a 12 course tasting Menu at Crazy bear Fitzarova which was much better they brought the food in stages so each dish was hot and you could eat and then have the next dish served it wasn't all thrown on the table at once which i'm sure didn't happen to the celeb who was eating there. If they couldn't deal with that celebrity visit and have other customers they should have just closed off the restaurant. and to add insult to injury whilst I was taking pictures of my son who was celebrating his birthday the head waitress told me I could not take pictures whilst the celebrity was in the restaurant!! I didn't even know they were there till then. That was a bit of a cheek we we having a separate event.
Really liked the venue and would have given 5 starts if it was for the service on the night as the booking team namely Stacey the assistant manager were so helpful

I shared a table with two strangers, the lights on the table was flickering which hurt my eyes and I asked to move twice but was declined. The food was very average, and after just over an hour we were rushed to leave to make room for the next reservation.
