Friendly staff who accommodated us earlier than booked. Very fun menu ordering off a tablet, games are projected onto the table whilst you await food. Went for £28 menu which was adequate. Just remember to order frequently to keep table filled up. Would visit again

inamo Covent Garden showcases its sumptuous Pan-Asian cuisine through pioneering interactive ordering and entertainment systems.

The famous inamo digital table menu has moved to a tablet-based system with greater control of ordering, rating dishes and service. The trademark table-top projections still offer chef-cam, games, animations, and more. The new systems will allow regular updates with exciting new engaging content. The elegant décor includes glowing onyx panels, clusters of bamboo, and a stunning lighting system that subtly adjusts to match the interactive table projections.

Delectable and inventive, the inamo menu centres around sharing plates of high quality pan-Asian cuisine, including ponzu salmon ceviche, Korean lamb and hot stone rib-eye. An extensive drinks menu features a choice wine list, a strong selection of sakes and beers, inventive cocktails and more.

We dined at Inamo before a show, and decided on the 4 plate menu. There were plenty of options for the group, which included one vegetarian. We particularly enjoyed the interactive table, and the service was attentive but unobtrusive. We all agreed the chicken katsu curry was the highlight of our visit.

Disappointing overall. Service was pretty rubbish. For the price of the food, you're mainly paying for the novelty factor. We arrived a little early for our booking. Loads of empty tables but we were seated right by the door then the waitress proceeded to sit two other tables and explain to them what to do. 10 mins later she finally came over to ask if we'd been before, we hadn't, and then showed us how to order. At no point did she show us what to do with the fun stuff on the table so we worked it out for ourselves. Food was quick and nice but not great. Not worth the money. If they got you excited about the concept and showed you all the fun things you could do then it would've made for a nicer experience. Won't be going back.

Great dining experience. Food was delicious and service was great. Perfect set up where you can order your food as and when and great value for your money. Shame the gaming feature wasn't working - this was due to our phones being near the table which we didn't find out until the end of the evening.

There was a feel of entering another world, subdued lighting, and each table had an overhead mechanism projecting the menu onto the tabletop, plus a game, that can be played using a mouse, if you have time. There is a iPad on each table to be used for the method of ordering which is explained when you are ready to order. There are various menu options, we choose the Star Deal for £28 each which reputedly offers 25 courses. We managed 11!! Out of those selected there were some we preferred and they were the Edamame Beans (can't go wrong with those); Korean Chicken wings (which had a chilli spice); Malay Vermicelli (which could have done with a few more vegetables; SD-Salmon Tataki (I'm assuming a Japanese dish); Sisuan Chicken (hot); Smashed Cucumber (cut into diagonal slices refreshing); and desert Watermelon Salad (served in chunks in a refreshing sauce).

Interesting concept. Went for the star deal - some dishes really tasty but others just bland.

We were put on a table next to two others eating. Both of which found it awkward. The service wasn't particularly great. One waitress serving us something she didn't know the name of. The games were particular slow and all just a gimic. The food was nothing special, a lot which came out cold and the unlimited sushi dishes consisted of a lot of vegitarian options. Overall not a great experience and I wouldn't choose to recommend to anyone.

Every dish in the deal were amazing!

Some of the dishes were great, some were average. I had a cocktail which was lovely.

We were on a set all you can eat menu but some dishes were not available which was kind of annoying. But overall not bad.
