Ignacio 'Iggy' Campos established Iggs Restaurante in 1989. Twenty years on the kitchen team continue to evolve their modern Spanish cuisine using the finest ingredients imported directly from Spain alongside the best of local, seasonal Scottish produce. It's no surprise that Iggs has held the coveted AA Rosette Award for many years now.

Vibrant and lively during the day, with lovely views to the north of the city through the large front windows, Iggs becomes warmer and more intimate in the evening. Candles, crisp linen and polished service are all part of the award-winning show.

Starters may include 'Roasted scallops, razor clams, tarragon & chestnut butter' and 'Roasted lamb kidneys, pumpkin puree, sage & panceta'. Mains include the not widely available 'Presa Iberica', acorn-fed wild black pig found in only certain parts of Spain - served as 'Iberian pork, pig cheeks, morcilla puree & cider caramel'. Fish is also widely featured with a prime example being 'Grilled fillet of hake, langostine tails, artichoke, pea puree & coral jus'.

Iggy's thoughtfully crafted wine list has won many accolades including the 'AA Most Notable Wine list Award' and the 'SLTN Top Wine Lists in Scotland Award' to name but two.

    Evening meal on a long weekend away, long wait for the food after we ordered however it was well worth the wait the food was out of this world

    Four of us Ate early evening having booked previous day Food was excellent had 8 different small portions and shared.Food was excellent and arrived without delay, portions ideal size beautifully cooked and well presented Wine was excellent desserts exquisite.Service was excellent. Staff were attentive friendly and helpful Atmosphere was lively We all agreed that this was one of the best meals we had ever had .We would reccomend it to our friends and return again and again and agaaaaaaaaaain.A fantastic meal

    The restaurant was ready for our party and showed us to the table straight away. The menu covered a good range of options and service was excellant. THe restaurant was not too warm and so would have benefited from having the radiators on.

    We dined all times of the day and evening because we went back throughout August but it was best of all as a place to celebrate a good Fringe show later in the evening. The Spanish cuisine is authentic but it has a Scottish element too - eg haggis presented Spanish style. The Sunday lunch paella is worth dying for. The patatas bravas was the best we've ever had and that includes in Madrid. The cheese from La Mancha was Quixotic! I could go on through every dish. The wine and ponche were excellent, the latter done in a particular house style. The staff - though always rushed off their feet - were friendly, articulate, funny, and more like a group of brilliant well educated raconteurs than one had a right to expect from responsive hard working professional caterers, real characters from Scotland, all parts of Spain and often both at once.
