Brilliant Venue obviously with amazing views, although the toilet are surprisingly tired looking
This is the second time I've been the first time, also at lunch the food was amazing. This time it was just "okay"
I would recommend for the view absolutely

I took my friend here for her birthday and we had the set lunch deal (£35pp for four courses). She brought her lovely baby and they were kind enough to provide a high chair. We'd been hoping they'd give us a table right by the window and they did! The views were completely breathtaking and as we were there for lunch and it was a clear, sunny day it was as if all of London was laid out in front os us. Fabulous. The service was very attentive and polite and the food was completely fabulous. The chopsticks were quite stylish and smooth, and since I'm used to using those cheap wooden ones that you snap apart yourself I found these really hard to use and instead ate with a teaspoon like a small child. But everything was delicious! We started with a cocktail each and they were utterly beautiful and extremely tasty. Then a clear monkfish broth, followed by a selection of four dumplings each, and then a beef dish and a fish/tofu dish served with egg fried rice. It was presented with great panache and elegance, arrived quickly, steaming hot, and was an absolute taste sensation. Very good value for money.

Wonderful experience, the food was great,(we had a set meal) wine was expensive and the views were out of this world. Staff were polite.

Great food, best kung po dish I've ever had. The cuttlefish salad starter was simple and refreshing, and I couldn't fault the service. A little expensive, but where else can you eat fantastic Chinese food while looking down on Tower Bridge?

Excellent visit to Hutong. Wife's birthday so somewhere special! Hutong didn't disappoint. what a great setting, the views are unreal, especially as it was a great day weatherwise and we had a window seat looking up the river to the West. Spectacular views all around the restaurant, even the men's toilet!
the set menu was excellent - fish soup, dim sum, mains was three dishes; fish and tofu in a hot sauce, delicious beef in chillies and peppers and pak choy, dessert was a mango jelly; extra dish for a birthday treat was a passion fruit sweet with a candle! great service and they even sang happy birthday - special. we didnt go for wine, gin and tonic and beer; wine is pricey as are all drinks but the setting seals the deal. great visit.

The £35 offer was very good. Tasty food, particularly the dumplings, and excellent service. The views are good too!

Arrived at 12.40 for our 13.00 booking and asked if we wanted a pre drink which we did and escorted to the Bar. Waited 5 minutes then asked the bar if they were serving and told rather abruptly the bar was not open until 13.00. Complained to reception who suggested we sit down in restaurant. Ordered glasses of wine and cold water. Wine arrived chilled but water was room tepid in temperature. Asked for ice which arrived 5 minutes later. These problems apart lunch was good.
