In a quiet courtyard in Mayfair lies the sophisticated Hush restaurant. It spans 2 levels, offering a classic brasserie, cocktail lounge, tranquil upper dining area, and stunning terrace.
The Hush menu offers modern, elegant European cuisine. Grilled lobster can be combined with chunky, hand cut chips with homemade mayonnaise. The popular Hush Hamburger is a favourite, and the saffron risotto is just one of the dynamic vegetarian options. Indulgent desserts are available, such as warm valrhona chocolate pot or salted fudge ice cream.
The same menu is available in the upper Silver Dining room, for those wanting a quieter, more intimate atmosphere. Over 70 wines are ready to enjoy, or exotic alcohol free creations such as spicy tomato juice made with a homemade wasabi spice mix. Hush also boasts its own cocktail bar.
Benefitting from subtle, warm décor and bathed in natural light, Hush offers delightful cuisine in the heart of Mayfair in London. Its mixture of indoor and outdoor dining areas makes it a flexible and inviting location.

Customer reviews for Hush

Fabulous food and cocktails. Busy, hard working attentive staff and a great setting, meant we really enjoyed our visit.

Service a little on the slow side, otherwise very good all round

We arrived at 5.35 for our booked table of 5.45 to find we were booked in for the 3-course meal offer but thought we had booked afternoon tea as I had read great reviews.Unfortunately, since were had not booked afternoon tea the restaurant we unable to provide it. They offered tea and cake which we accepted inside but once seated the waiter could only offer us tea and a pudding from the menu. We accepted as we felt it was our misunderstanding about the afternoon tea booking. My friend had brioche bread & butter pub and I chocolate cheesecake. Both puddings were dissapointing (sparce fruit in b&b and rock hard base to cheesecake). My friend was presented with a luke warm coffee and myself a huge pot of leaf tea however the holes in the strainer were rather large so I had a cup of tea leaves. The bill came to around £15 which included a 12% tip added by them. On the plus side crisp white linen table cloths lovely china cups and tea pot. We could understand that it was their policy to only provide afternoon tea which is pre-ordered but not to have at least a spare scone or piece of cake seemed rather odd. I am sure this was a one off set of unfortunate circumstances and wish Hush well but we shall not be returning.

It was pretty good, though my friends and I were left for a considerable time drinking wine without anyone asking us if we wanted to eat. I also made it clear that I had made a Bookatable booking but was given the main menu which had to be replaced when we finally ordered the food. Food was very good albeit small portions. Al fresco experience was atmospheric and enjoyable tarnished by the nearby smokers. Can't restaurants insist on vaping from their minority nicotine-obsessed customers?

I got the feeling that as they have one of the few courtyards in Mayfair, the can get away with over priced average food and unfriendly, indifferent service.

Very good food and service, good atmosphere except for couriers, DHL & DPD walking through with deliveries, surely they have a side/trade entrance.

The set menu was a very good deal for this place especially when you compared it to the main menu which is pretty pricey. Wine was expensive, cheapest bottle of red £29. Food was really tasty and the setting was delightful but the service was terrible. My friend had to get up and go to the bar to order a drink as no one came over and other diners were noticing and doing the same. I'd go back but I really would expect more from a pricey place with a great reputation. It's the only thing that let's it down.

What a gem, hidden down brook street,we would never have found this unless looking.we booked through bookatable £29 for 3 course and cocktail. So glad we did as it is a lovely place in Mayfair.we ate in the courtyard and had our cocktail which was sublime! The onto the food which was cappacio of beef to start, lovely! Followed by the fish cakes and ordered a side of chips for £5. This was better than expected, very tasty. Then another cocktail later(they were so good we had another each) I had the crime brulee....what can I say this was amazing, the best one I have even had,I would recommend this.
So thanks bookatable as we would never have had this experience. A bit pricey,it is Mayfair after all! But had an amazing meal.
