Well made dishes in a cosy, quiet setting. The Sunday Roast course was good value.

Located within boutique hotel The Arch London, Hunter 486 is named after the 1950s dialling code for Marylebone. Fusing nostalgic London glamour with contemporary touches, the restaurant features an open kitchen alongside leather booths and statement artwork, as well as an adjoining champagne bar.

Head Chef Gary Durrant at Hunter 486 has devised a menu celebrating the best of the season’s flavours. This is complemented by an extensive list of wines and champagne available by the glass. The menu features modern classic flavours including dressed Dorset crab with avocado and pink grapefruit, roast Norfolk black chicken with sweet potato gnocchi, peas and tarragon sauce, and lemon sole fillets with Jersey Royals, samphire and potted shrimp butter. Dessert options include chocolate fondant, salted caramel ice cream, and passion fruit cheesecake and sorbet.

Every Sunday Hunter 486 London serves a Sunday roast menu. The weekly Set menu also provides an excellent pre theatre or express lunch or dinner option. Hunter 486 is also very well known for their Royal Afternoon Tea and its seasonal variations.

An intimate and romantic setting with charming views over neighbourhood mews, Hunter 486 at The Arch Hotel sits a minute’s walk from Marble Arch Tube Station.

Excellent aftn tea. Lovely table + fresh flower. My only comment would be asking for another pot of tea the waiter filled the existing pot with hot water only and not a fresh pot so consequently tea too weak to drink! Good service pleasant atmosphere.

We had a baby shower here. The afternoon tea was lovely. The service was excellent and one waiter even went to get some toys and entertain our little boy while we enjoyed the food.
Had a great afternoon, highly recommended.

High Tea and the highest pleasure! We came earlier than our reservation was detailed, and they made it happen extremely professionel in a few minutes. It was the peak of the trip to taste a real afternoon tea in a such perfect place, the liberary at The Arch.

Lovely afternoon tea. Staff very friendly and accommodating, swapped things we didn't like and made an afternoon tea for my 5 year old and also gave her a lovely children's pack. We were able to take the rest of our cakes away aswel.

We visited here for Afternoon Tea, and the tea selection, sandwiches and service was fantastic. Would definitely like to come back, and try the cocktails in the evening.
