We were a work party of eight people. All meals were lovely, very good value for money.

We were very very disappointed with our lunch on Thursday, 1st December. There were eight of us ladies who would not bother going back and would certainly not recommend Hugos to anybody else. Myself and other ladies had a starter of spicy prawns which was 4 prawns presented on a bed of soggy lettuce with a squirt of balsamic sauce. Surely the chef should realise nobody can eat soggy lettuce! The main course was disgusting, again I and another lady chose the pulled pork which was presented with a little bowl of coleslaw and no sauce on the pork which was so hard and dry we couldn't chew it. Us ladies soon realised that it seemed the pork must have been left under a heater for some considerable time. We told the waitress that it was inedible, she took it back to the kitchen, she then said for us to choose a different dish, not an apology and they would rectify and give us what we wanted, the pulled pork! We then chose the Green Tai chicken curry which we soon realised had been cobbled together as the chicken was in very dry chunks laying in the sauce, it had not been properly cooked in the sauce. A few of us ladies have been to Hugos twice before about a year ago and really enjoyed it then so what has happened? Your front of house staff seem very nice and are doing their job except the waitress had to be reminded about 2 of the coffees she had forgotten ordered by us ladies. The other dishes ordered by the other ladies in my party were ok but definitely not the standered they used to be. As I said before we will not be coming back.

Food is great!! Service was good but as usual food takes forever to come to the table!! It's one of the reasons I don't there as much as I'd like to.

Tennerfest menu was amazing and it was nice to still have it in November. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. I love this place having only being introduced to hugs a month ago by a friend. Its the first place I look to book when I want to go for lunch or evening meal. Recommend recommend is the word. Go for it as my last three visits have been amazing and cannot find fault.

I chose this restaurant before coming to Jersey because it is one of the few with Paleo Diet options. I have dined there twice and enjoyed good food on both occasions. The restaurant is centrally in St Helier. Staff very attenative.
