Housed within Soho's St Giles Hotel, Hudson's House, London serves a British-led menu with modern-European influences. This sultry late night spot exudes 1930s glamour, and boasts a sweeping bar manned by theatrical cocktail waiters.

Locally sourced, seasonal ingredients are used whenever possible and daily specials showcase the chefs’ imaginative flair. The modern Hudson’s menu features dishes like grilled sea bass with a light salad, and grilled corn-fed chicken breast with deep-fried mashed potato.

For dessert try Hudson’s Mess, the restaurant’s own take on a classic Eton Mess, or the daily-changing cheese board for something more savoury. The contemporary food menu is matched by an exciting array of cocktails, fine wines, house-brewed lagers and real ales.

Husdon's House in Soho fuses 1930’s glamour with a modern finish with a central bar, private booths, ornate sofas and candlelit tables. Tottenham Court Road Tube Station is just 2 minutes’ walk away.

The steaks and fries were good but not the lamb
    Desserts were very good
A bit expensive for a tiny glass of Martini
Services and decor were very nice good and nice.
Overall, a please and good time, I would definitely recommend it.

Our meal was fabulous. e actually thanked the chefs ourselves on the way out. The waitress could not do enough for us. I think her name was Katya??What an asset to your team. She was so busy, but as so pleasant. We were celebrating 40th birthdays, and she brought 2 deserts out and sang happy birthday with us. Lovely, lovely, lady who so deserves a pat on the back. If I had to be negative....., the football blasting out on the TVs was rather annoying, that's why I have knocked a star of my ambience rating.

Hudson burger and beer is a good deal but the server was pretty standoffish and not at all personable

4th visit here in the past 14 months, I travel from Somerset, 2 of my daughters from Kent, and this is where we "lunch" waitress who has been there every time is absolutely delightful, friendly and quietly attentive.
Food: DELICIOUS, utterly Delicious, worth every penny on a reasonably priced menu.
Dessert: DECADENT You have to have one,

Staff was friendly and never failed to assist us when we need to order something even though he was the only one on duty. Food was was served not long after order placed. Pork ribs and the hudson's burger we had were just fabulous! Will definitely come back again for the food.

A huge disappointment! Went specifically for their ribs. Rated them as the top ribs last year & wanted to get them again, as hadn't found better around London.

The waiter got the order wrong, and only ordered my friend the ribs, and me nothing. He saw nothing wrong with me sitting with nothing to eat, while my friend tucked into her ribs. By the time we called him over to enquire, and he rushed off to order me my ribs, they were FINISHED - at around 20h00 on a Friday night!!!! I tried a rib from my friend and was gutted that it still tasted great - a bigger disappointment that I never got mine.

Tried their chicken breast, It was tiny - a pygmy chicken? My first nibble was dry, the second OK, and the third tasted partially uncooked - left the rest uneaten.

A female waitron who took over did her level best to make things better, but her colleague & the kitchen let her down.

My ratings are based on this last visit, and reflect my friend's & my experience, to make it more balanced.
