A former school makes an appropriate setting for the Michelin recommended Hoxton Apprentice, a charitable enterprise giving disadvantaged individuals the chance to train in a professional kitchen. Conveniently situated on the edge of the City of London in Hoxton Square, 5 minutes from Old Street tube stations, the attractive interior buzzes with a relaxed and stylish crowd, while the well-executed yet simple menu offers modern European dishes in two sizes for sharing or keeping to oneself.
All of the food served is produced from the freshest seasonal ingredients, sourced locally wherever possible. Hoxton Apprentice also offers a comprehensive selection of white, red and rosé wines from around the world, as well as champagne to help you celebrate that special occasion. The pavement terrace on Hoxton Square offers al fresco dining and a good vantage point for people-watching in the summertime.
Whether it's a casual catch-up over a cup of coffee, a formal presentation, working lunch or a canapé reception, Hoxton Apprentice is also suitable for your business needs. For special events, menus can be tailored to suit your requests and requirements. Not only is the restaurant the perfect venue, but you can rest assured that 100% of profit from the money you and your guests spend will equip local people with the skills and experience needed to work in the hospitality sector.

Customer reviews for Hoxton Apprentice
((((( 18 June 2011 by Johhnyboy from london
We ate mid evening and the restaurant was pretty full. The restaurant is Brasserie style and is professionally run while supporting long term unemployed apprentices back into work and providing them with useful qualification and realtime experience. The food is exceptional for the price and while the menu is relatively short it ticks all the boxes and it means the chefs can pay attention to detail on every dish. The style is a mix of traditional British food with some European flair to add a bit of colour and it works very well. I will definitely be going back and recommending to my friends. I have already booked my birthday party there as they also have a private dining mezzanine that can cater for upto thirty people.
