The environment very pleasant, tables well spread out and quiet. The staff were very attentive, without being over-officious The food was fine, though the consomme was not quite what we had anticipated. Wine list excellent.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We both had never been to this restaurant and first impressions were beautiful. We were took to our table by a really lovely waitress. She told us about the menu and she was very knowledgeable. We had the chateaubriand deal which came with chip salad and a bottle of wine. We also ordered tiger prawns to start with. We got offered lovely fresh breads as well. Everything about this meal was perfect. The food was incredibly good and one of the best meats we have had. Our waitress was lovely and very accommodating throughout the whole experience. She is an absolute credit to the restaurant. Unfortunately I didn't catch her name but she was born in Hungary :)

Beautiful place, and food was out of this world. Very relaxing experience

It's a lovely space. The food was amazing but the portions for two were quite small. The wine selection was house red or white and while they are delicious it's a very limited choice. Overall good for a night out but you will need to get a starter and a sweet to make it a full meal.

Met at the entrance to the restaurant by waitress and coats taken. Confirmed thst they had a reservation from bookatable for the chateauxb and wine for two. Wine ordered and delivered to table promptly.

5 mins later informed that the chef had forgotten to order the joint of beef. So why advertise as a speciality?

Offered another steak as alternative which we chose the ribeye medium done. Only for two burnt at sides and welldone inside steaks. I was assured that there was mac donalds fries within the bucket of salt delivered. The ready made in a bag peppercorn sauce was asda's finest range standard.

Upon complaining the waitress co sulted the manager and i was offered the food free and my bill came to £21 for the wine..which was appreciated.

The chef was having a very bad day in our experience.

Our food waitress was very good but there were too many people involved in the service so it felt very impersonal and the manner of the wine waiter was rather off putting. The food and atmosphere were good and it is a lovely place but it was our 3rd visit and we probably won't return.

Food was fine as was wine but there was a little confusion as to what was included in the package; bread poor and no offer of more; staff did thei best.
