Located on London’s iconic Aldwych, Homage Restaurant at The Waldorf brings fine dining cuisine to one of London's most iconic hotels. In stunning Louis XVI-style surroundings, Homage Restaurant offers a unique twist on the modern European brasserie, set inside the splendour of The Waldorf Hilton. Renowned afternoon teas are also served in the elegant dining room.
Chef Prendergast has designed a menu centred around a partnership with Buccleuch Estate Beef, whose succulent hand cut steaks lead the grill section of the menu. The Table D’hôte menu is ideal for pre or post-theatre dining, and is centered around fresh, seasonal produce.
An on-site patisserie at Homage restaurant prepares fresh cakes and pastries, perfect for the renowned afternoon teas. The elegant bar offers a large wine list, along with a range of irresistible cocktails. The surrounding décor is classic elegance – gold-topped pillars and sparkling chandeliers.

First impression not brilliant as it is difficult to find the entrance from the street - you have to go through the hotel and round a few corridors. Shame as they could do with more clients! It is a beautiful room but felt cavernous as hardly anyone there and therefore no atmosphere. On the plus side we had a nice evening as could chat with little noise around us. The set menu offered a decent choice and the food was ok - nicely presented but lacking in flavour and main course was going cold when we got it. Service was excellent and I couldn't fault it.

This was a spur-of-the-moment decision to eat somewhere nice in central London after some shopping in the West End. The restaurant was a large room with a tall ceiling, in keeping with the rest of the hotel. Upon arrival there were only a few other diners (it was only 7.30). There was some background music but you felt you had sufficient privacy to have a conversation without being overheard. The food choices were limited to a handful of items of each course but sufficient for us. Difficult to fault anything really. Service was very good, food was excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality.

Dining at the Homage is a magical experience from the moment you step into the ornate dining room. The food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. Our waitress was thoughtful and made our evening such a delight. I have the pleasure of stating categorically that this restaurant is one that I will hold in my highest esteem.

main course of Pheasant gorgeous but neither plate nor food particularly hot- only just warm- would have been fabulous if hotter
constant checking by up to 3 staff at each course to ask if food was ok etc ,( but one in particular asked question , then left before we could respond ) rather irritating as having catch up with friend
