Located on London’s iconic Aldwych, Homage Restaurant at The Waldorf Hilton brings fine dining cuisine to one of London's most iconic hotels. In stunning Louis XVI-style surroundings, Homage Restaurant offers a unique twist on the modern European brasserie, set inside the splendour of The Waldorf Hilton.
Executive Chef Robert Prendergast has designed a menu centred around a partnership with Buccleuch Estate, whose succulent hand-cut steaks lead the grill section of the menu. The Table D’hôte menu is ideal for pre or post-theatre dining and is centered around fresh, seasonal produce.

Great food & service.

From the moment my friend and I arrived we were treated like VIPs. We had stepped in to a world of timeless elegance. The service was seamless and the smiles from all the staff were genuine. We had a delicious meal from the pre-theatre menu made special with a glass of champagne. The whole experience put sparkle into a grey winter day. So nice not to feel rushed, the Waldorf ambiance beckoned us to stay a while longer.

Poor I wouldn't eat here again!
Faded glory - the restaurant decoration was cheap.
Service was uneducated and shoddy. Was told a non existent sommelier would take out drink order was patronised by the waitress.
When the red wine appeared it was ok but over priced (£36 was lower end price too!) poorly served the waitress even put the screw top back on. At those priced it is not unreasonable to expect a sommelier. Wine was tasty.
Starter - (Beef Carpaccio & Smoked Trout) nice presented small portion unseasoned. But ok
Main course - (Pork Loin) best bit well cooked decent portion delicious.
Dessert - (Cheesecake & Cheese) poor both tasted shop bought - waitress didn't know what the cheese was, she arranged for someone to come and say who also didn't know what it was. The nicest piece was a Chedder(?) which was sliced smaller than an aftereight mint and rest was probably bought at the coop over road. All was fridge cold! Including the nuts! Pickle ok. No bread option. When I asked for butter was two rock hard butter portions pressed out into a pot. Impossible to spread on crackers.
The service was where this restaurant really let itself down. Ignorant, pushy, patronising. We overheard one male waiter take food to the table next to us and it was like he was flirting and using his worse chat up lines. Their laughs were of pure embarrassment.
I did complain to the manager who was efficient and cold. I had to encourage a gesture - I would have been horrified to hear that a customer wouldn't be returning and want to know why. Seemed like it was a regular occurrence for him.
After my encouragement he did give a 25% reduction on the bill and removed the service charge.
We still wouldn't risk here again at the price they charge at the present. Spend your money in other places.

2 starters were soup and a goats cheese mousse .... both needed some kind of bread/toast accompaniment but this was only as a supplementary dish and so additional charge.
Main courses came with a veg side but did not detail potato, so we ordered a supplementary side of mash .... potato was then served as part of the dish (not on the menu!) However, as we didn't then require or eat the side, this was removed from the bill (even though the waitress tried to tell me that broccoli also meant potato!!!) The food we had was lovely and the deal itself was excellent value but we did feel that we were being 'steered' to buy additional dishes to complete our meal .... not something that I have experienced with the Homage restaurant before.
Would still recommend for value, food quality, service and the environment.
