A Grade-II listed building and over 200 years old, the Holly Bush Hampstead has the feel of a country pub with its real fire, ornate etched glass panels and authentic wooden floors. Featured in the coveted Good Food Guide, Holly Bush serves quality British cuisine.

Dishes on the Holly Bush menu are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, and diners can enjoy smoked haddock, Welsh rarebit, or marinated anchovies with crisp pancetta. A hearty selection of large plates at Holly Bush London includes corn-fed chicken breast, whole baked rainbow trout, and organic Court Lodge Farm beef and ale pie.

Leave room for decadent desserts like sticky toffee pudding, chocolate and prune tart or Eton mess. Holly Bush Hampstead is also home to an upstairs function room which seats up to 60 people, and the 10-seater Lady Hamilton Suite which offers a private dining experience to remember.

A 2-minute walk from Hampstead Tube Station, the Holly Bush Fuller’s pub provides an ideal escape from the bustle of the city.

Have eaten at the Holly Bush numerous times over the years, but not for a couple, so no surprise it is still as brilliantly characterful place, but very pleased to find its high standards of cuisine & warm ambience remain unaltered. Sophisticated gastro-pub menu with frequent Persian/Morroccan twists offers a nice balance of hearty and subtly-flavoured dishes. We had: starters: quail escalope with spicy slaw, stuffed zucchini flower, mains: beef cheek pie with sugar snaps and mushroom mash, rib eye steak, with herb butter, and gravy pot, thick cut chips (more like quarter potatoes!) and herb salad, desserts: crepe suzette and sorbet platter (they accommodated gf's ask to swap in ginger ice cream from another dish, very kind). All beautifully presented, and much more delicately flavoured and detailed than you'd expect from even a good gastro-pub kitchen. Not super cheap (though it IS Hampstead) and if you're in the back room a loud table can dominate a wee bit, but a) you're paying for high quality dishes not tat and b) it was our anniversary and despite a full house, we found it a v pleasant, nay romantic, dining experience. Add in great range of beers, varied wine list and top single malt selection. Shall be returning.

Dinner at the Holly Bush was OK, not the best pub food I've had but definitely not the worst.
The dessert was definitely the best part. Mains seemed a bit reheated, and my lamb shoulder meal was all the same brownish colour, despite there being potato and veggies in there.

Service was just OK as well, had to wait ages for dessert and bill and it didn't seem that busy.

Very good food, friendly service. Busy spot, so service can be a bit slow sometimes, but it's worth it since the pub's atmosphere is worth soaking up.

Terrible half of the choices on the menu were not available. Didn't bother to stay we won't go back shame as it was an engagement meal so that bit of romance was ruined. Only one roast or a veggie alternative !!!!!

Hearty tasty food. Good service and cosy atmosphere. Staff very accommodation despite not having the online booking come through to their system

Steak and salmon very god, but the beef cheek pie is too heavy and stodgy
