Holborn Dining Room at Rosewood London serves seasonal British cuisine with a twist in a unique space handed down from the East Banking Hall of Pearl Assurance. The bold interior of this Holborn restaurant contrasts beautifully with the tranquil al fresco dining terrace set within the Edwardian Grade II-listed building’s courtyard.

Made from seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, The Holborn Dining Room menu is divided into 8 sections, including bar snacks, a hot counter and grills. Steak tartare and Argyle smoked salmon lead the cold section, while decadent British classics like pan-fried chicken liver are served with a duck egg and black pudding. Other enticing options include a selection of crustacea and charcuterie paired with wine, and juicy burgers from the grill.

The interiors at Holborn Dining Room exude timeless glamour with reclaimed oak, red leather banquettes, and antique mirrors. A retro-style cocktail bar serves craft beers and classic cocktails, whilst the terrace is set in the building’s peaceful courtyard.

Holborn Dining Room at the Rosewood Hotel in London sits in midtown and is a 3-minute walk from Holborn Tube Station.

    Great for a business lunch

Enjoyable evening but the gluten-free options were not very special - my guest chose the rice pudding but was not told it was served cold or was offered the option of having it heated up when it arrived. The gluten-free options were offered almost as an after-thought when I had specifically stated that on the booking form. The service felt a little abrupt at times although it was not busy at the start of the evening.

Lovely place for brunch - not busy on the Thursday morning in August that we visited, & I was greeted nicely & then shown to the worst table for two - squeezed in like a sardine within whispering distance of two other tables. I had booked in advance online, but it wasn't clear whether my greeter had understood that I had a reservation. I asked for a better table before I even sat down, spotting a row of free booths near the bar. Once seated and my friend arrived, all was good - excellent service, delicious spelt pancakes & English sparkling wine (it was a birthday brunch) & my friend declared her fresh fruit plate to be refreshing and tasty. The decaff Americano (3 shots) was reasonable though not amazing. Breakfast menu was fairly comprehensive, with yogurt, fruit, eggs, baked goods etc. We we served a surprise of cellophane-wrapped Holborn Dining Rooms home-made raspberry fudge on a plate decorated with chocolate spelling "happy birthday", which was a nice touch.
It's a bit like the Delaunay & I'd happily go there again.

Large open plan well designed restaurant & we sat on the terrace as it was a hot day. Lovely setting but it is a bit like sitting in a car park as the taxis go in & out to the hotel. Expensive meal £19 for fish & chips - very nice, £18 for burger without chips - not very good, very dry burger. Service OK. Nice to visit but disappointed with the food.

Our waiter was amazing and as it was my friends birthday made lots off effort to make her feel special. Food was really good only trouble we over ordered and couldn't finish it all.
