A beacon of British elegance and refinement, HIX Mayfair sits inside Brown’s Hotel Mayfair. Both British food and art are celebrated inside - a superb menu of native cuisine is served, with original Tracey Emin artwork on display.
The menu at HIX Mayfair celebrates the very best in British fine dining. A selection of oysters and eggs are available, through to the decadent classic of grilled Fowey lobster with garlic butter and chips. A wide selection of game dishes are available, featuring rabbit braised with Burrow Hill cider, and vegetarian options include the classic bubble and squeak.
Fine British ingredients are also used on the dessert menu at HIX Mayfair, which offers cox apple and elderberry crumble. The restaurant boasts a dedicated bar with comprehensive wine and champagne lists, while the hotel’s separate Donovan Bar offers cocktails and a DJ throughout the week.
A timeless dining experience in London, HIX Mayfair offers exclusive private dining options, and sits just a 5-minute walk from Green Park Tube Station.

The staff were attentive and professional. The ambiance in the spartan dining room was somewhat lacking.
The food was again not quite up to our normal expectations of restaurants of this level.
Pushed the boat out a little with drinks and caviar, however still think the bill was higher than the level of expectations.

Food lovely, service great, nice dining room with tables not too close together. Wine by the glass very expensive

Nice location and decor. Service was great to start with, then tailed off after our first course. We had the Star Deal lunch menu: three courses plus snacks and fizzy cocktail for £35. Food was well presented but unexciting, apart from the 'snacks' and the Millionaire's Tart which were great. Comprehensive wine list - but over-priced: cheapest glass of red £15 and no bottles under £40. Did we have an enjoyable lunch? Yes. Would we go there again? No.

Excellent set menu, both in variety and execution. Opening cocktail and "snax" a huge plus in making the meal special. Service attentive but not intrusive.

Dined for my wife's birthday on a star deal. The restaurant staff were excellent, just the right level of attention. They offered an alternative still wine to the cocktail or presecco that came with the star deal (a great Chenin from SA). The food was fresh, seasonal and didn't leave us stuffed. We'll be back for the bottomless weekend brunch at some point. X
