With a popular rotisserie menu and outdoor seating, Highland Gate is a wonderfully family-friendly, modern British pub. Cask ales from Marston's Brewery are served, along with a global beer and wine list.

Tender rotisserie chicken features high on the Highland Gate menu, with diners able to customise theirs with flavours including garlic mushroom and Thai sweet chilli. There are spicy rotisserie curries, as well as a burger range with toppings such as brie and chorizo. British classics also feature on the menu, such as beef and ale pie, and there are vegetarian recipes like butternut squash, feta and pomegranate moussaka.

A tempting dessert list at Highland Gate Stirling offers up favourites like red velvet cheesecake, and there is a full wine list and selection of carefully chosen cask ales from Marston's Brewery.

Also offering dedicated gluten-free menus, Highland Gate sits only 8 minutes' drive from Stirling Rail Station.

I have been to the highland gate on several occasions, and have been very impressed with the food and the service .How ever on this occasion I felt the service was not as good as it had been previously. The staff didn't seem too interested and service was quite slow. Also we waited almost 20 minutes for our drinks to come. Perhaps this was just a one off , bad day for the staff, I don't know, but I was quite disappointed on this occasion.

Only complaint was from my son who thought the chicken wings weren't crispy enough!

Lovely surroundings and nice interior. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Food is average pub grub. Don't sit at a table near the slot machine we had to move after our meal because the noise from the machine killed our conversation.

We were celebrating my aunt's 89th birthday. Beforehand,She had remarked that it was ages since she had felt inclined to finish a meal; consequently, I was delighted that she enjoyed the meal so much that an empty plate was returned to the kitchen. My meal was equaly as good. I should certainly hope to return soon.
The staff provided the right balance of attention, being neither intrusive nor distantant.
I'm sure Goldilocks would have enjoyed her meal here.

lovely food very attentive waiting staff. However the manager (male) was very rude to one of the young waitresses as she was calling out food plates he came in over spoke her then walked off. What a rude man with absolutely no regard to his young employees. If this ever happens again and we eat regularly here then I will say something to him the next time followed by a formal complaint. DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR!!

Went with three friends and really enjoyed our visit. Nice open plan seating with lots of space between tables. Lots of choice from menu, especially liked the lighter version, because not everyone can face huge plates of food. We all agreed that we would return again.

Welcome was good and table quiet as requested.
A very good selection to choose from and the lighter bites were just right for our guests.
A Celiac menu was extensive and enjoyed. Water was very attentive for refills as well as clearing table.
I am sure our guests will be back soon to further sample great meals.
