The third addition to the revered Hawksmoor fold, Hawksmoor Guildhall enjoys a reputation for the best steaks in London. Alongside a buzzing speakeasy-style bar, the walk-in wine room stages refined tasting sessions.

Sourcing sublime cuts from multi-award winning butchers, The Ginger Pig, the Hawksmoor menu spans from hearty breakfast offerings, through to its renowned steaks and delicious accompaniments. Bursting with natural flavours, Hawksmoor favourites include delicate crab on toast, or a magnificent sharing cut of porterhouse, where guests can select their desired weight from the blackboard.

Hawksmoor London serves up signature creations for breakfast, with wholesome offerings including a spectacular sharing platter, or a delicious pancake stack. From the old school bar, nostalgic flavours are served in blends like Harry Craddock’s marmalade cocktail, or a creatively concocted house fizz. Offering its own bar and superb bespoke service, a chic private dining room is filled with glossy wood panelling and plush furnishings. A personal bartender prepares signature drinks mixes, and specially designed sharing menus offer a range of dishes and cuts of beef.

Highly praised by top industry critics, Giles Coren of The Times describes Hawksmoor restaurant as ‘flawless’. Nestled in the heart of the city, Moorgate Station is 7 minutes’ walk away.

No a great experience. They were unable to bring dishes to the table simultaneously so I spent half the meal dining on my own. The next course was brought to the table before I finished the previous course. And when I had finished the course, the same dish turned up again rather than one that had been freshly prepared. I had booked the fixed price menu using bookatable but the a la carte menus were the ones brought when we sat down. Well below the standard expected of this restaurant.

Dinner was delicious and the service was fantastic. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and his order of a glass of red wine was upgraded and given to him on the house. If I could eat here everyday I would! I could live off the bone marrow gravy alone!

We had the express menu and the steak was fantastic! Food was delivered quickly and staff friendly. The wine was expensive at £23 a bottle but that's London prices I guess. We chose the location as we were going to watch a show at the barbican which is 5mins walk away.

I have already contacted the restaurant and told them what a most enjoyable evening we had. It was my wife's 70th birthday and the staff treated her, in fact both of us in an exemplary manner. They were friendly, discreet (as requested) and utterly professional. The food lived up to our high expectations.

It can get very loud so not really for a romantic dinner.

My colleague and I had a semi formal breakfast meeting. The breakfast was quite excellent and the staff were brilliant. We arrived late and probably overstayed our welcome, but at no point were we hassled out and nothing was too much trouble. Not sure how sensible it was to have a couple of 'Salty Sea Dogs' each. They may not have cleared our heads, but they made what was left of the morning go with a swing! Thankyou, it really was an absolute pleasure.

Fillet was slightly drier than I would have liked but still tasty. The sirloin was incredible, unfortunately we got there for a 9pm booking by which time the larger cuts were finished... The service and wines are incredible, the sommelier was very passionate and we picked a fabulous Serghesio, Zinfandel. Hawksmoor remains a firm favourite.

One for the carnivores, big steaks cooked perfectly. The bone marrow compliments the steaks and is highly recommended.
