Our waitress was very attentive, nothing was to much trouble.
She made our visit a pleasure, making us feel valued as customers. Food was of good quality and very enjoyable.
Overall, a most enjoyable experience.

Informal yet ultra-fashionable, Harvey Nichols Second Floor Brasserie showcases supreme modern European cuisine. This elevated spot offers views over the city, and a black lacquered bar offers a fashionable selection.

A diverse mix of flavours, the Harvey Nichols menu spans from eclectic ‘little plates’ and wholesome bento boxes, to classic main courses. An array of exciting flavours can be found in the likes of tandoori monkfish with sticky mango rice, or pea and mint cannelloni with smoked feta, whilst hearty classics include a succulent signature HN burger, or Atlantic-caught cod with chunky chips.

Innovative twists for dessert include a salted caramel pot au chocolat with hazelnut shortbread, and Vimto summer pudding with clotted cream. Chic and sultry seasonal cocktails are served at the Second Floor Bar, and delicious offerings for brunch include streaky bacon and maple syrup waffles, and classic eggs benedict.

Set in one of Manchester’s most iconic buildings, Harvey Nichols Brasserie is a 6-minute walk from Manchester Victoria Rail Station.

Booking excellent. Food a very good standard. Unfortunately restaurant has been turned into a very noisy cafe and bar. No starched white tablecloths or quiet ambience, in fact it has been turned into a glorified M & S. It was a terrible disappointment as it was Mother's day and my family were treating me. The bar needs to be in a different location and the restaurant needs to be turned back into a restaurant..

Fairly average afternoon tea. The food was very well presented and there was a good selection. A few minor glitches like having to drink tea out of heavy coffee cups and not enough cutlery on the table. Waiting on staff also a bit disjointed and some not great English speakers which made ordering extras hard work. Overall, pleasant but average.

Arrived on time but the table wasn't ready and had to wait at least 10 minutes. Other than that it was an enjoyable experience.

We really enjoyed the spring sampler. The view was fantastic. All dishes were great except for the pasta and the polenta could have been more flavoured. The small treats with the coffee were not available which at 6pm is not acceptable.

Disappointed that house wine (as part of Spring Summer plates menu) did not include house prosecco for 25p extra despite asking. Would have paid the extra 25p. Had run out of chocolates to go with coffee and didn't make any effort to substitute. Was told one dish on small plates menu was with goats cheese and so two diners ordered it and it turned out to be mozzarella which neither diners liked in the dish. Otherwise food tasty and cocktails good. Service good overall apart from gripes mentioned above.
