    I emailed Harvester to book for 12 people for my daughter's birthday. I asked a few questions on that form and it took almost three weeks for a response.
    When we arrived the party bags had been placed on the table so the kids were straight in to the sweets which I had to take off them. Who puts party bags on the table before a meal?!
    It took almost twenty minutes to get two jugs of cordial with glasses. I had 9 six year olds with me!
    Food was pre ordered for the children yet when the 3 adults ordered on arrival those meals came out before the children's and even they took about 25 minutes. When we complained the adult meals were taken back and brought out cold about 10 minutes later.
    My main had a dead black fly in the middle of the fish. There was no one around to complain to. I walked through the pub but I'd waited that long for the food I couldn't bear having to wait for new food to be made to replace it.
    We had to clear our own table to make way for dessert as the staff just left us sat in a corner.
    I then went to pay our bill and after making payment and realising it seemed quite high I asked for an itemised bill to discover I had paid someone else's bill which was double the amount of mine. I then had to pay my own bill with the promise of the incorrect bill being refunded within three days. The server did apologise but he really should've presented me with an itemised bill straight off.
    I eat here probably once a month as its my local but I was very disappointed with this overall.
