It was during the Easter holiday that we met with friends for lunch booked for 1pm. It was busy. We were seated quickly but it was some time before we were asked what we would like to drink. Eventually our drinks arrived and our food order was taken. After some time we had to hunt for our waiter to order more drinks and enquire about our food. He apologized for the wait and said that our food was just being plated up. It was a further 45 minutes before our food arrived. The food was lovely, however two of the party had items missing from their plate. Had the waiter come to check if our food was ok like they usually do, we would have been able to advise of this problem with our order. However, due to the amount of customers we did not see him until well after we had finished our meal. We mentioned the problem when he cleared our table and he apologized. Several of the party had deserts which were lovely. It would have been nice if they had acknowledged? further that a mistake had been made. As previously said, the food was lovely but the lack of staff clearly was an issue.

Sadly it was a horrible experience. When we arrived I noticed how scruffy everything was outside with bits of litter lying about. The place was absolutely heaving and I do recognise that it was a very busy Saturday on a lovely day when the resort itself was bursting with visitors, but as a couple thinking about having a quiet meal, the absolute mayhem which surrounded us made it a very unpleasant experience. The staff were doing their best and we did get our table early, but found ourselves close to two separate incredibly noisy families one of which included two women who appeared to shout everything they said. The second family had a young toddler with the most appalling shriek who threw everything which came to hand, almost hitting us at one point. The gents toilet was sopping with water and the carpet was sodden outside the toilet. Our medium rare steaks were more like well done, but to be honest they were the least of our problems. Our prawn starter was delivered with its sauce in large containers which were lying on their sides in the dish with the prawns because they had run out of the proper ones. The handles were covered in sauce so I found myself sticky before I started. We just wanted to eat our meal as quickly as we possibly could and get out. We realise now that this is just not the place for anyone looking for a relatively quiet eating experience. Yes - we should probably have complained there and then but really didn't want to add to the problems of our hard pressed waitress, though we did mention that the noisy families were making the experience very unpleasant for us.

After a bad experience a couple of years ago I thought I would try dining here again, I must say I was disappointed nothing has improved, dirty bowls at salad bar, food only luke warm with meagre servings and not once were we asked if we would like another drink
