The food was really nice ,presentation of simply chicken was not so good ,perhaps putting a sweetcorn cob would make it look better . The plate looked half empty, and I was disappointed when I saw the other dishes ,but I had some extra salad ! The waitress was lovely And very helpful, and patient.

Very friendly staff and pleasant decoration. Service was good and food arrived quickly and was of good quality. Salad bar was one of the newer ones with a few extra things - gherkins, pickled onions etc. On the downside, didn't appreciate the child dabbling her fingers in the potato salad or playing with the drinks machine. The toilets looked like world war 3 had happened, toilet roll, paper towels and water everywhere - more unsupervised children I'd guess (The other set of toilets were closed.) Such a shame a pleasant dinning experience was spoilt by a few people who can't be bothered to look after their children. I would be happy to go again but maybe during school hours!

The meals were not great at all. I ordered medium rare steak which was so raw, I struggled to cut into it, blood oozing out. My mother had the roast dinner but the potatoes were awful & others on the table had issues. As we were out for a rare family get together, none of us complained as it would have resulted in food going back to the kitchen & lengthy waits whilst others in the party continued eating.
The apple pie was luke warm & apples still partially raw (still crunchy) & the crumble, was a bowl of mush..

Poor selection for dairy free children's option particularly on puddings.
The phrase you could eat your dinner off the floor was very true, as there was enough food on the floor by the pass, which is in full view, to feed a small army.
No bowls for the salad bar and when they arrived the majority were dirty.
Took 15 minutes to deliver two empty glasses for the children's drinks.
I know it is a budget restaurant and we did go at your peak time but certain standards should be maintained.
    We will not be returning.

Very good service considering how busy it was. We didn't have long for our order to be taken and similarly didn't have to wait too long for it be served. We were not rushed. We both enjoyed our choice (opting for the £10.99 deal) which was the half chicken and we also enjoyed the free salad and desert.

Normally eat here and the food is excellent. Unfortunately on this occasion there was only one waitress serving the lower tab!es so the service although good was really slow. We had to remind her about our drinks and when she came back she apologised and said they are normally ready but she had to make them herself plus one of us had coffee but had to ask for a saucer?! When we arrived we saw staff standing talking then rushing around putting sauces on the outside tables! Weve been loads of times before when it's been really busy and staff handle it well. Still excellent service and really good food for a really good price! Booked on line first time and got voucher for one free drink! Really good idea!
