Set right on the waterfront, and with al fresco seating looking out over the harbour, Harvester Sovereign Harbour boasts an unbeatable location for tranquil family dining. The menu is packed with mouthwatering recipes, while the bar serves up a great selection of drinks, including cask ales.

From its succulent grill selection to the celebrated unlimited salad bar, the Harvester menu is packed full of wholesome flavours for the whole family. Rotisserie chicken cooked in a secret blend of spices is available alongside tender smoked ribs marinated in signature BBQ sauce, while smaller tapas-style dishes are perfect for sharing, with options like spicy crackerjack prawns, and grilled chorizo with padron peppers. There are generous combo platters, juicy steaks, well-stacked burgers, and a great salad selection with premium additions.

All kinds of sweet treats are served on the dessert menu at this Harvester in Eastbourne. The sundae selection loads real dairy ice cream with toppings like warm chocolate fudge brownie, raspberries and honeycomb pieces, while classic British options like Bramley apple pie sit alongside international twists like key lime pie. From the bar, there are world beers, spirits, and speciality soft drinks for the kids.

Also set next to a cinema and shopping complex, Harvester Sovereign Harbour is just 11 minutes' drive from Hampden Park Rail Station.

I went yesterday on Mother's Day and booked a table and the manager said it would be a halve an hour so went and left but overall the food is good

Absolutely appalling evening. No space to sit and eat the waitresses had to keep getting out of each other's way when they were trying to serve. Food was disgusting.

Tried the 'new' seabass with mashed potatoes and beans absolutely dreadful. Potatoes had gone hard on the top and I had to break through to eat it but after one spoonful I gave up as it was stone cold and tasted like paste. Tried the beans and again were stone cold and tasted peculiar. The fish was so small it look as though it had been cut in half and frizzled up also cold. My husband was lucky he had chips so at least he had something to eat. Could not complain as the girls were so busy that they didn't stop.

I spent from 01.00 a.m Sunday morning through to 10.00 p.m. throwing up. Never, ever will I go there again and I have told everyone not to bother. Not prepared to rate anything as it should be a minus figure. Used to love that place but not anymore.

Not as good as a previous visit.
Had to wait 5 minutes before being greeted. It was very quiet but only saw a couple of waiters.
Salad bar was repeataive on both sides. No white rolls
    No ice for the coke
Southern fried chicken wasn't available although it was very quiet and early in the evening.
No complaints about the food which is why I would recommend it.

Booking easy and accurate. Still billed as walk in! Service overwhelmed and items missing from menu, not mentioned at start! Food adequate but service slow.

The service was great and the food too

The salad selection has shrunk slightly but it is still tasty and varied.

Recently refurbished. Visited with family including two young children. Surroundings very comfortable. Staff really friendly. Food excellent and good value. Did not feel at all rushed. Highly recommended and plan to re- visit in the future.

The Sovereign Harbour restaurant has been newly refurbished and the decor is much improved, with a few changes to the layout too. The service was a little slow, but being a Sunday they were very busy. The food was very good, apart from the fact that one of us had a very tough rump steak, so was unable to eat it all.

Absolutely awful service. There was only four tables taken in the whole restaurant. The service was so slow. We waited 10mins for her to bring us empty glasses to go and get our own drinks. We waited 10mins for her to bring the bill to us. Food wasn't great. Chips looked old. At 5:5pm you would expect the salad cart to be full and inviting. No. Empty. We had to ask them to fill it up. Will not be going here again.

although the waitress was very friendly and helpful it was very chaotic and an obvious lack of staff. We received 5 meals instead of 4 which wasn't a problem but then we were charged for 5 so not great! Will think twice before going back again. Customers on the table near us were complaining too.
